Well my 9th month has been interesting I did lose a total of 44 lbs, but I have gained a little here and there..now I believe I am at -37 lbs so wow, I haven't logged on in a while. I haven't had a fill since august, only because I owe my surgeon over $800 :-/ I am making payments because I really need a fill. I am disappointed in myself but oh well I am hoping to get back on track....I'm glad I logged back on, I missed my fellow lap banders!

Well my 4th month will be on the 14th so far I have lost 29lbs but I have only had one fill I don't know what size band I have but I know I had 1.5 cc in it! I go for a fill on the 9th of this month!

Food tracking is the key for me! :purplebananna:

I can fit into some jeans that I couldn't find in Jan 08, they fit perfectly now!!!

Hello Feb Bandsters!! I had my 1st fill 3/24/08 and I am scheduled to have my 2nd fill 4/7/08 so far I have lost 24 lbs!!! and I could'nt be more happier. I have had alot of restriction but I can eat a little more now thats why I glad Im about to get another fill. I love this band :-)

6 weeks is about how long the doctors want you to wait.

After reading this thread I realize I have the same problems, I get another fill on the 7th but I think I might need to have them unfill it.

I stuck to my pre-op diet, no cheating at all...I was proud of myself!!!

I must say Im in pain but the pain meds that were subscriped helps me alot! I am very happy about my choice I have already lost 15 lbs pre-op, and I havent been that hungry. Im still on liquids for another 2 weeks, so Im sure I will lose more weight as of right now I just want to stay in bed all day! But in all Im happy I made the choice to get the lap-band!! Girl this is so funny it was Dr. Stanley Hoehn. Im wondering do we have the same insurance, it sems like we have been on the same road together all along!

Exactly but when I first started this lap band surgery thats exactly what they said to me so I had to find a doctor that performs it at a HCA hospital. The other doctor was covered under my insurance, but the hospital he performed it at was not!!!

Hey angel we are in the same city and state, who is your surgeon?? I would like mines sooner but my insurance states for it to be covered they have to do it at certains hospitals and my surgeon is the only one that does it at the hospital covered by my insurance!
