  1. Don't wait for them to tell you to document the diet. Go ahead and start that with your PCP. Norton won't even see you until you're 6-8 months into your weigh ins depending on insurance requirements.
  2. I went to Dr Weiss a couple of years ago but have decided to go through Norton in Louisville. They have been much more thorough and have been great about keeping me informed about what is going on. I have an appt with the surgeon next week, hoping for May or June surgery.
  3. I wonder the same. I'm meeting the surgeon the 21st and hope to schedule surgery soon.
  4. I have more than 200 to lose as well. No one realizes it, even my husband, because I hide behind a tough shield. No one besides my Dr knows what I weigh. I meet with the surgeon next week, April 21st, to schedule my surgery. I'm hoping for an early May surgery so that I can acclimate somewhat before my kids get out of school for the summer. I know how you feel though, there is fat shaming even amongst the overweight population. I've heard a woman say before "at least I'm not THAT fat". I totally understand. Feel free to vent to me any time.
