  1. @@Miss Mac that is hilarious! I'm so using that line the next time someone asks me why I'm not eating something!
  2. Well no wonder she's been nauseas and vomiting! Maybe they finally figured out why she's been so nauseas. E-coli is horrible to have and can make you sick for weeks! And they're idiots for giving her an oral antibiotic when she can't keep anything down. I'd get that switched asap. Poor girl has been thru enough without having to worry about getting sick even more from a pill.
  3. How the hell is nausea and vomiting psychological? The crap they're coming up with now... She still in the hospital or were you guys able to go home?
  4. I'm also on day 13 of my Pre-op diet and down 13.5 pounds. Surgeon was happy about that.
  5. So they haven't said when they'll take the stone out yet?
  6. I sent you a request on my fitness pal...
  7. My first appointment was April 17 and my surgery is May 27th
  8. I'm game for something like that!
  9. How long til they can get the stone out? Another week?
  10. Oh, man. Are they trying to get this nausea under control? SO glad you made a formal complaint! Very happy you won't have to deal with that doctor again. I hope they make him personally give you and your daughter a formal apology. What he said was completely unethical and ridiculous. Still praying she feels better.
  11. @@ssourgirl, any better today?
  12. I haven't really gotten excited yet... I dont think I will until the date etc closer.
  13. I would actually report him to the hospital if you can cause that's some bull! You can't treat patients like that! I really hope you don't have to deal with him again. I'm mad for you. That's just unacceptable!
  14. Wow! Please excuse my language what a F**&+ dick! But good for you for refusing to see that doctor again. So many people are afraid to stand up to doctors. I am relieved her nausea has started to ease.i don't care how fat you are, just being fat doesn't cause pain. How the hell does he expect her to get up and walk with no nutrition for such an extended period of time. Wow just wow. I hope the next doctor you see isn't such a jerk!
  15. This is all so heartbreaking! I hope you have family around you to lean on in this difficult time. I hope both of you get the answers you need soon! You both deserve some relief.
  16. So are they sending her home?? It's crazy she's had this nausea for this long. Can it be attributed to the kidney stone? I hope they're sending her home with some good pain and nausea meds. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you and your daughter.
  17. Oh, no! So sorry it has come to that! Praying this is what's causing her nausea and she feels better!
  18. @Ifry925 lol, I do too but I figure hey if I'm nauseas and it helps, I'll try it! They stink to me now but who knows able it'll help!
  19. Awesome, thanks! My surgeon said this won't be nearly as painful as gallbladder surgery so I'm hopeful this won't be too bad. I don't plan on being in bed much. My doc requires I be up and walking when they send me up to my room after surgery. I'm looking forward to getting this started! The wait is killing me!
  20. Lol, OH yeah! Slipper socks! Haha. I had my gallbladder out at the end of last year and I didn't bring much with me then either so I think I'll plan the same for this surgery. Really hoping it's not as painful as gallbladder surgery tho.
  21. Lol, that's funny it's the same way with this office. I was just told where to go and when and that's it! They've been handling everything. I love this surgeon and his whole office team. They've been great. Now it's just finishing up all of my appointments and then surgery. Any advice on what to bring to the hospital with me?
  22. Cool, I'm seeing Dr. Baranov in Saratoga Springs. He's been awesome so far. Yes, my date is a little over a month away! Starting to get nervous and excited. Did you go thru your insurance? I have CDPHP and my surgeons scheduler made it sound like I would get approved super easy. I've already seen the Nutritionist, I got for Pre-op testing next week along with my weigh in, and then psych evil on may 13th....i dont think they've actually submitted everything to my insurance yet...
  23. Good morning AngryViking! Love the name! Haha. Where are you at in your WL journey?I'm just over 9 months post-op RNY and down 125 lbs. 41 to go!Wow! That's amazing, congratulations! Who was your surgeon?
