So exciting!!! I complained because I have been waiting 3 months. I have wanted this for a year, but was waiting the new to start the journey. No more complaining though!! I too am scheduled for April 15th. lots of people have given me their two cents worth of opinions, but I have decided this is for me. For my health, for my family, to prove once and for all I can fight this weight and win.

I started my liquid diet yesterday. Whatever I'm smelling is disguating. Maybe it's my body going into ketosys, not sure. However, my mom was cooking for Easter thus morning abd smell of egg about made me sick. I'm extremely sensitive to smell anyway.

I had my consult on Jan 29th, scheduled for surgery April 15th. It took 2 weeks for me to get approved after my psych eval, egd and nutrition class. I have BCBS though. It all went pretty fast, but the approval is what killed me. I wanted surgery mid March.

I'm from Houston. I'm scheduled for 4/15/15. I am going through the Davis Clinic. They have been awesome, can't wait for surgery.

So I started my liquid diet yesterday. I just have this weird smell in my nose. Is it just me? who else is having to do the liquid diet 2 weeks prior to surgery?

Got my date, April 15th @ 9:30 am. Started my liquid diet on Friday. I am not caring for these shakes. Can't say I'm starving though, they are filling me up. I'm 5'3 HW 324 CW 316
