  3. Tacos on lettuce leafs instead of taco shells! I have them at least once a week right now. I'm a little obsessed! Lol
  4. I waited about 3 weeks. My daughter is almost a year and a half and weighs 26lbs so I was super careful when I picked her up. My doctor recommended waiting 4 weeks but she still sleeps in a crib and I had to get her out in the mornings so I didn't have a choice.
  5. I use Genepro also and I checked with my NUT and she said it was fine. I like it because it's only a Tbsp for 30gm or protein and it really doesn't alter the taste of things.
  6. Does anyone know how much fat should be in our protein shakes? I just bought a pumpkin spice one from GNC that had only 3 grams of sugar (I think) but it has 6 grams of fat. That seems like a lot?
  7. Wow, you are doing way better on the liquids then I am! Today I got 2 cups of hot tea, a protein shake, and half a sugar free water ice in. I am slacking in the liquids department. My follow up is on Wednesday. I can't wait to be off the liquid only stage! I am not hungry at all but my brain keeps telling me I want something to eat that I can chew. It's driving me nuts!

  9. I had mine the same day! Glad you aren't feeling too bad. Today has been a lot better for me. The past few days have been really rough. I feel you on the reflux. I am having the same issue. If you are interested in a buddy feel free to message me! It would be great to have someone that is on the same stages as me.
  10. I'm from south jersey but had my surgery in Abington, PA.
  11. Hey everyone, I'm only two days post op and I am pretty miserable. Almost regretting my decision to have surgery in the first place. PLEASE tell me it gets better. I am so sore and the gas pain sucks! I have been walking but I can't tell if it is making things better or worse. And I am trying to sip, sip, sip but I just feel so bubbly in my stomach. This really sucks so far.
  12. Congrats on the surgery. I was sleeved yesterday as well. How are you feeling??
  13. Thank you! Everything went well. The first night was rough but I am feeling much better today.
  14. Congrats! I am having mine done at Abington. I work in Glenside and wanted to use a hospital closer to where I work. How are you feeling?
  15. Close enough! where are you in this process?) have you had surgery yet? Mine is scheduled for tomorrow morning!
