  1. BLERDgirl - when was your surgery? Mine was 10/22 with Dr W.
  2. They told me the number one reason people go back to the hospital is dehydration. I don't want to go back. I keep a cup near me at all times and keep sipping! I like the hot chicken broth too. Also I'll put some crystal light in a water bottle and it helps.
  3. Hi Betsy! who did your surgery, Dr. Williams? I've been walking around the block (2-3 times a day) and trying to get the liquid in. 2 protein shakes a day, can of broth, sugar free water ice, water with crystal light. My follow up is 11/11. How about you? Oh never mind. I just realized you went to Abington. So it wasnt same doc!

  5. Had my surgery 10/22 at HUP. Less than a week. Pain and nausea are ok. It's the reflux (bubbling in my esophagus) that's annoying!
