  1. this is definatly not enough calories!
  2. I don't count calories. At least not in any formal way. I have done some "spot checks" here and there where I would log my food for a day or two just to see where I was at. But I have found that eating 5-6 times a day, putting protein first, and getting my 100 grams in pretty much keeps my calories right where they need to be. I'm in maintenance now and training for a half marathon, so I've had to actually start working on getting in MORE calories, which I am still stumbling my way though. I'm still in the losing phase (5 lbs or so from goal) and my nut said to eat between 600-800 calories a day, but I have a hard time with those calories and to get the needed protein. I like to get others opinions on what works. that is not enough calories!!
  3. im on 200g protein a day and I try to stay around 3000-3200 calories. I eat basically the same thing everyday just change the seasoning up a bit to help with flavor. I only use a shake preworkout at 4am to get in some protein and glycogen to fuel me through my workout on weightlifting days(4 days a week) on cardio only days I do my cardio fasted and found it worked better for me. my evening workouts ill eat my last whole food meal in my office around 430 pm and back in the gym for 630. ill have 1 snack of either watermelon or pineapple before bed. its all a matter of what groove you find that works for yourself but post like these are a big help to get you well on your way! great post kat!
  4. Bought all new clothes! Many of them! But my overall new addiction is definitely shoes. Air Jordans to be exact. Love getting new ones as they come out!
  5. WOW! I don't post much on here and haven't been here in a while but I stumbled on your post today. I am having a similar issue with my wife of 18 years. I also am from new Orleans. I had my sleeve april 23rd 2015 and have lost a lot of weight! I also take testosterone weekly but let me tell you this, since all my weight loss and the addition of testosterone injections there is no need at all for Cialis! im not sure what his deal is but id LOVE to have someone want/desire sex! sleep naked? arouse yourself naked next to him and nothing? you are a beautiful woman and have accomplished a lot in your journey. I know the struggle of it because I too accomplished mine, but it would make for a long night if you would do that laying next to me!! no offense please! I just realize how you feel because I too have VERY similar issues. you shouldn't beat yourself up wondering why its happening because it sure as heck isn't your fault!
  6. i guess the reason i feel well enough, or have the strength to do my walking is contributed to the fact that i was walking 3-5 miles a day leading up to surgery. i had lost almost 40 lbs from walking/working out but couldnt keep the weight off. i was successful losing on several diets with exercise, but always put it right back on.. i feel great so i push on. if i feel any reason to not walk, i wont, but feel like if i have the energy to why not...
  7. had my sleeve on april 23rd 2015. surgery went fine and i was up and walking later on the same evening of the surgery. had a little gas issues but nothing major. went home the next day after surgery stayed focused on the clear liquids. 2 days post op, i went to the gym and walked a mile before running of of energy. then the next day, i was able to go 2 miles, and my energy level is slowly coming back. im sure it will take time to regain all my strength but im actually shocked at how great i feel so far! looking forward to the next few weeks of my journey!
  8. im not having surgery until may. i do however look forward to many of the same things posted here. but i have 1 in particular that has plagued me for 4 years now! its called fat mans squeeze at rock city in chatanooga tennessee. we go to the smokey mountains every year for christmas and stop here on the way. i have actually tried it twice and failed! 2 other times, i backed out and took a cutaway trail. i was embarresed and fely like i let my wife and son down. needless to say i cant wait to beat that, in additon to hiking in the smokeys more!
  9. i do all my shopping at dxl but do most of it online. when i do go into the store i go directly to the harbor bay pocket tshirts, grab how ever many 5x i want in various colors and check out! i never let anyone assist me because i already know what fits me how i like it to. i so look forward to shopping at normal stores as well!
