  8. I only told really close family. I don't think it's anyone's business but your own ❤️
  9. My surgeon doesn't require a liquid diet at all. No real pre op diet at all actually. Obviously if you gain within the process he will stall surgery because the commitment doesn't seem there, but he recommends a low carb high protein diet but it's not a necessity.
  10. Close enough. Lol how are you feeling?
  11. Yay! Mine is at 1130 am. I'm in Massachusetts you?
  12. Anyone else have the same surgery date? I'd love to keep in touch if so. I'm having a million feelings all at once. Scared, nervous, but most of all READY to continue the changes I've already made for myself.

  14. @@FinallyFit50s I get my surgery date on the 25th so excited. It will be at mercy too!
  15. Thank you. Hope your feeling well after surgery! I completely understand where you are coming from. I have been on this journey since October and finally got my surgery date. March 31st. It's coming up soon. I have had so many different emotions since I got the news I don't know what to do with myself. I keep telling myself you are going to do this and move on. Your not going to give up. But it is very intimidating. But at the end of the day I need this for myself. My starting weight was around 353. I am down around 327 right now. I can't wait to be on the other side of the circle. The losers circle. Lol. Good luck! You can do this! That's so soon! I'm so happy for you. I can't wait to find out my date!
  16. Oh darn. That was my next question! Lol I can not WAIT for the day I don't dread cleaning because I don't have the energy

  19. Thanks. Since I've gotten back in touch with my surgeon I'm ready. No second thoughts. I'm so excited for this new life. Pinterest is everything when finding meal ideas when I can have actual food.
  20. Springfield Massachusetts.
  21. One of the biggest things I'm looking forward to on my journey. I started my first DIY project and sanded an old desk to eventually paint it black. I can't get through painting it because between bending trying to get the corners and just going up and down a lot I get tired! It really shows me how my weight effects everyday tasks. Besides that I just overall feel so slothy at this weight. Just so heavy that I feel slow if that makes any sense lol. Can't WAIT to to get some of this weight off so that exercising isn't so hard.
  22. Baystate medical in springfield. Dr. Blackman from pioneer valley surgical associates. Great to know someone close. 72 hours! Yay!
