Pulse in my stomach
Yes! The pulse in my stomach has become very noticeable. I feel it a lot laying down but also when I'm standing and have my arms crossed. That's when it's most annoying to me I haven't asked the doctor. But everyone has a large artery that runs down your midsection. I just figured mine had gotten used to pumping blood to my large body and all the fat hid the pulse from me. Now that I'm much smaller it's more noticeable

Fitting on roller coasters at amusement parks?
I went to Disney and Universal at 190 lbs. No problem at all. The Universal rides are less forgiving than the Disney rides and I had a blast there, no issues at all fitting in the rides. I'm 5'5

Summer Reading
I'm always looking for a good book. I'm re-reading Harry Potter just because I couldn't find anything else really good. Now I gotta see it through to the end. Hopefully I'll get some good recommendations from this thread!

Hard Boiled Eggs
I alllllllways bake my bacon. SO perfect! And it doesn't splash grease everywhere. I bake my bacon too! I put the cooked bacon in the fridge and reheat it a piece at a time in the microwave. So much easier.

Gotta Get Off the RNY vs. Sleeve Seesaw: Heads or Tails, help me out!
OK....you give me hope!!! Any problems with GERD? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App No GERD thankfully! I never had problems with that before surgery. I even had a hiatal hernia with no symptoms. Good luck with the decision. Does your doctor have a recommendation?

I had the sleeve in March of 2015 and have lost 140 lbs. I didn't want to risk the malabsorption issues with the bypass. So you can lose a lot with the sleeve you just have to follow your doctors guidelines.

Post Your Silly Rant
I call them movie duds. I can't seem to ever go to the movies without some a**hole sitting right behind me and talking though the whole thing. Why do I want to pay for a movie and listen to a stranger's narration? I figured out the dog is going to die too, I don't need you to tell me. Sometimes I think I'm not going out in public anymore.

I wish I didn't know who she was. But I seem to see her all the time now on tv and stories on the Internet. I hated that stupid show Full House and now it's making a comeback! Noooo!

People who don't turn off the volume on their cell phones when they are in a doctor's waiting room. I don't want to listen to your phone conversation or your 50 text message notifications or your keyboard clicking or your Rolling Stones ring tone.

Creative foods for newbie! Howdy y'all!
I had surgery with Dr Balette in March of 2015. He's awesome! Right after surgery I mainly had yogurt and Fairlife milk. When I could move on to soft foods I often had eggs and string cheese.

Back from vacation! With picture
I love Cozumel! And will love it more now that I've lost the weight. I would go and never let my picture be taken. Plus I almost passed out trying to get to Tulum and I never actually got to see it. Have a great time Hulabird!
