  1. Mine have come back and are pretty regular. I feel good after getting it and always lose a few pounds too. Hang in there
  2. I have had this happen a few times as well. Each time it is due to eating too quickly or not chewing the food enough. I have had it happen with chicken and eggs. I am only 7 weeks post op and have to remember that slow and steady wins the race I either throw it back up or I have also taken papaya enzymes. They will help to digest the food and avoid the throwing up part.
  3. I tested positive through blood tests and was put on antibiotics for 14 days before my surgery.

    April 28th

I had my surgery on April 9th and came home on the 11th. The most painful part for me has been the gas pains up my left shoulder. Each day it subsides a little bit but is still quite painful at times. Otherwise everything has been pretty good. I've had some reflux but that seems to get better each day as well. My advice is to get up and walk as much as possible after surgery. Good luck!

Hi Starbuckscoffeegal, You are about a month or so ahead of me in this process, but I realized we have the same surgeon. I have my pre op classes next week and meet with Dr. Bautista the following week. My surgery is set for April 9th. Any suggestions or tips? Wishing you the best of luck in your weight loss journey and hoping those two pounds are gone tomorrow ????

I am from Richmond and my surgery is scheduled for April 9th. I am a few weeks behind you. Are you on the 2 week pre-op diet?
  16. My first consult was September 2014 and my surgery is scheduled for this April. Mine was a long process due to the fact that my insurance required 6 months of monitored weight loss program with my PCP. Once that was completed I had approval within 24 hours and surgery scheduled.
