Cause I am allowed it in my liquid diet post op

I just don't want to eat too much Ice cream or soup and end up throwing up I hate throwing up,

I had my sleeve on Friday 13th and I keep trying different liquids and ice cream seems to go down ok but how do I know when I am full as I never was before the operation

Oh great not good then! I so don't need to keep having accidents for next 2 weeks

I have had 3 spoonfuls of soup today (post op 3 days) and now I am on the toilet with (sorry if tmi) diarrhea which is water consistent! Is it normal to have runs after surgery or cud it be dumping syndrome do U think

Kichi speak to the consultant as they can give U something to relax U! I was really upset and scared and they helped me! I have a 6 month old, 6yr old and 8yr old and was so scared but he really helped me! I can't hold my 6 month old and I hate it I just wana cuddle him but I can't just think this is what's best for Ur life and Ur child's life to make it better

Check Ur vit b 12 as my sis had same problem after her band and its cause she had low levels and now she is doing really well again after her injections

Yea I did they said its normal and to wait for 5 days and I shud start getting better, I can't drink water as it sends my stomach into spasms

Had mine 13th and I am in so much pain it's horrible I can't take pain relief cause it's making it more painful sends it into spasms I dunno what to do :-(

Yea I have been walking and the wind been moving around it's more the actual incision

The wind pain isn't too massive it's the pain from the op that hurts the most

When I walk I just start feeling extremely sick and want to throw up! It's horrible! I even have sick pills and they aren't helping me

I have he says its normal i gonna try a hot pack on it

I feel really ill, the pain is crazy, even with pain relief, the wind is not going anywhere even tho I am walking loads, I keep being sort of sick too

I had mine at 8am yesterday and I sobbed for days before scared i wasn't gonna survive and I Wud leave my 3 kids behind i sobbed all the way to the theatre but I am still here and surprisingly not too bad! Everyone is scared it's a common thing! Don't feel bad Ur scared! But really if U were a risk then they Wudnt do it they wud refuse as it wud ruin their numbers

I'm having issues with sipping water at moment! My gas is agony when I sip some it must move about and it makes me get Alot of pain in my chest and shoulder

Well I had my surgery at 8am and I am slightly uncomfortable but the hospital keeping me very comfortable or as comfortable as possible! Anyone who has had surgery would you be able to tell me a couple of things! When I sip my water I feel very sick but I am not sick It just comes up my throat and into my mouth without heaving! Is that normal? Also when cud U start laying on your side after the op????

I'm dreading my op tomorrow I hate pain and I hate gas pain too :-(

Thank you for replying, I understand I won't lose it every month and periods will hinder it also! I tend to put on 8-12lb just in the 2 weeks before it, I'm just interested what other people's losses have been like

I have 155lb to lose I am starting at 380lb although have lost 22lb in the 2 week pre op diet! I am interested in other peoples losses over months or weeks?????
