  7. I'm doing good so far. I have to find ways to keep myself busy. Once I do it's pretty easy. I did notice I am grumpy at times. Today is day 3 and I'm doing well, only issue is I seem to not have a lot of energy...don't know if it's a mental thing or not How is it going for you?
  8. Thanks everyone! My pre op diet is protein shakes 3x a day in place of meals. Can have a little bit of fruit and raw or steamed veggies. So far so good. Just trying to get used to it. Noticed myself getting a little grumpy and not much energy. But it was only day 1
  9. Thanks for the kind words. I hope I can lose that much. It's only a one week diet with shakes and a little bit of fruit/veggies. It's been tough but I'm committed to this life changing decision
  10. Just got my first Protein shake down for Breakfast. Could have been worse...lol. Excited to begin this journey. Best of luck to everyone getting sleeved this month and beyond. Hoping for success to everyone who has been sleeved already
  11. Sorry to hear you don't have the support. This is a great site and I enjoy talking with everyone, but having outside support from people close really helps. I'm lucky to have the support of many people including co-workers and friends. Hope your friend comes around and learns more about it!
  12. My surgery is next Monday! Started my 1 week diet with a vanilla protein shake. Not too bad but it's early. Looking forward to my journey and wishing the best for everyone involved in this process!
  13. I tried the premier and struggled to get it all down. Gonna try another one and go from there. Thanks for all the information.

What kind of weight regimen did you start out with? Low weight and high reps or the opposite?

  18. Sounds like most people like the protein powder over ready made shakes. Thank you for all of your helpful advice. I'm gonna try a few different ones before I settle. Start my pre-op diet a week from tomorrow

Congrats! My surgery is April 13th. I start my pre op 4/6. Was wondering if most guys have issues with saggy skin or not.
  20. Hey everyone. I start my 1 week pre op diet 4/6 and am starting to prepare to buy stuff. Looking for recommendations on what I should buy.

  24. I have no clue how often they do but you shouldn't be smoking still. You are risking severe complications by doing so. You really should push your surgery back and quit so you don't run into problems later
