From all the reading I have done recently someone on the forums mentioned a bariatric surgeon in Texas that does the surgery for a little under 4k and if that is so you could possible get your insurance to help u and pay the rest as self pay! Cigna is my insurance company and the company I work for has a exclusion to wls yet cigna said anything is possible. So I began jumping through hoops and approvals and then to a bariatric surgeon with all my approvals and two years later it's still denied. I'm frustrated with it all and heading to Mexico on March 31. My primary dr. Agreed its a good idea but informed me that if cigna finds out I went to Mexico they will cancel my policy. Has anyone seen this happen?

Dr.verboonen and others are listed on site have very good if not excellent ratings. Bariatricpal is a main resource for wls patients,they have magazine,webpages and of course would have more contacts in Mexico. Not standing up for them but if you don't believe in bariatricpal why post on their forum.
