How long was recoup time for tummy skin surgery? Going Oct 3rd don’t know what to tell work.

I have had my bypass 1yr & lost 115lbs & at goal weight. I eat everything just small amounts cause small stomach. I ate a hot dog & roll w/ onions last night with fresh cherries. Waiting a 1/2 hr to drink isn’t end of world. I have never been happier! So glad I had it done. July 5th is 1yr...

Good for you! I am just looking to get Stomach skin removed. Did you pay out of pocket. If insurance paid or do I have to pay out of pocket. I have insurance but not great policy.

I am so happy i got bypass not Sleeve. success is better & I lost 85lbs 6 mths & not hard or never uncomfortable.

I am 6mths out & still never hungry. I have trouble getting enough protein in. I lost 83lbs in 6mths with no effort. 15lbs from goal weight. It’s skin sagging that is new issue. Being healthy is 1st!

Frustrating for sure! Do you have confidence in Dr?

Not many people at the gym would be critical. They are there for the same reason. if anything they give you credit for trying . People too busy thinking about themselves!

I am new to this sight, I read the Forum but usually don’t respond. BUT ... i read yours & I had band removed after 3 yrs @ not very good results. The adjusting to the adjustment takes forever & bumping against washer & sink. I got gastric by-pass in July 5th & I am sooo happy. 6 Mths & 70lbs . no pain or throw up... I went to NYU Langone & was very pleased. Never hungry which is odd but then eating isn’t a Thrill or entertaining for me . i find things to do that are fun to do....

Unwanted crap in house is next! Clear mind!
