I had gastric bypass on 3/30 and doing great????????????????

Yeah????????????????????I am having regular bowel movements????????????????

I am continuing to do great and still no complications????????????????????the diet is going well and getting all my fluids I'm and I have had my first BM ????????????????????????????????????????????????

Not only am I having all these other problems .... I still weigh 10 pounds more than I did when I went into surgery ????

I am 10 days post-op RNY Gastric Bypass. Nothing taste the same nor does it taste good. Even water has a strange taste. My left side hurts terribly. I just feel miserable!!! Am I ever going to be myself again???? I am bored but don't have the energy to do anything ..... Feeling sad and frustrated????

Started 14 day liquid diet weighing 300 lbs. went to the hospital on March 30th weighing 271. Now 7days post op and I have gained weight, I now weigh 285 pounds?!?!!! What is the deal!!?!!

I am 7 days post op and have not had a BM. I do not even have the urge, I have passed gas. How soon after surgery should you have a BM?

I finally feeling more likely self. I was having much pain in my left side, I think the surgeon punched me in the ribs ,,, Lol

Yeah,,, home on the recliner 2nd day post-op???? Without complications so far ????????????????????????????

Hang in there , the time passes quickly. I stated my journey September 2014 and I am having my surgery on Monday, March 30th!!!

30days...oh my So for 30days all you can have is optifast shakes!

Preop done surgery will be done Monday, March 30th at 6:00 am. Excited and nervous !!!

March 25 is my surgical date:) it will be done in Oewsso,Ok .. I just live a few miles north, Oologah .

I am having my surgery March30th !!!! I am on my 10 day of liquid preop diet. I only have 4 more days of this and then on to clear liquid diet and then surgery on Monday!!!! ????????????

I just finished my 5th day of, 4 SF carnation instant breakfast, 1c of skim milk, 1c of SF jello or 2 Popsicles and water. It is a struggle, driving me crazy! Does anyone else have to do this diet? I have to do it for 14 days????

I am on my 5th day of liquid diet; 4 SF carnation instant breakfast, 1c skim milk, 1c SF jello or 2 SF Popsicle a day, this is a 14 day diet. I am going crazy!!! I have cried everyday since day 2. Today I have questioned if I can even do this ... Do I need to give it up???? ????????????????

I am new at this and can not figure out how to post my own question or anything???? I am having RNY 3/30. I am on my 2nd day of liquid pre-op diet.
