Venting My lapband surgery was dec 2015. I droped from 230 to 185 in 5 months. I was so proud of my self. i was diagnosed with endometriosis, and had ablation surgery in april 2017. In sep 2017 i got gallbladder disease, so another surgery. I found a lump in breast last month, i was scared shitless.. I stress ate, i cryed, the wait made me a mess. Lucky it was only 3 cysts and it was taken care of. To add on Im going to college full time with a 3.8 gpa, stay at home mom, with 2 children. My son is has a severe speech delay. So i spend therapies are alot. No excuses, i found it easier to eat out. On the run, and now i am up to 203lbs!! Im not gonna ask how this happened. I know what i did wrong, i feel like a failure. I cryed today when i got on the scale. I always told the nurse dont tell me my wieght, and today i finally got the courage. I know it will be hard but i will be ok, i can drop the weight again, and keep it down. I have to keep it down for myself, my children, and my heart condition. I just need to talk to someone who understands, no one i know has WLS, my family is very thin and dont get it. I feel i have let myself down. I feel im in this alone. Thanks everyone, i have cleaned out my kitchen from junk food and bought healther options. This year is been crazy. Im realize im not alone. I had been gone from this page for almost a year. I didnt realize how much support i needed from other people who have been/are on the weight loss journey. Its not easy. I toom your advise and sat down with the hubby, he has noticed but didnt want me to feel bad, he was not sure how to bring it up to me without hurting my feelings. I was banded Dec 19th 2014 Dr. Earl Fox, did my surgery. In kennewick wa. Anyone locally, and recently banded? Im down 30lbs still on liquidz, with 2 toddlers to handle while im recoving.

Nice, i lost 34lbs in 2wks pre op and 24lbs 6wk post, then i started gain back 6lbs, i talk my dr and he also put me on contrave, since phentermine kept me up for 3straight days! Contrave has been working almost 2wks and in down the 6lbs plus another 3lbs. I have no bad side effects so far, i just needed a boost, my dr understands since he too is a banded patient. He nake me feel good about goin to him for questions or concerns, and i have not once felt judged.

Today was my 1st fill, wierd thing is i felt full when he put the 2cc in, but now 2hrs latr im hungry feels like i dont any fill. Im on a 48hr liquid diet, but to be honest im super hungry, did he not put enough?

Ok so im new here, but i was banded dec 19th. After yrs of failed weightloss. I had began to feel ok with my overweight, i had been stuck their, so i ll be honest, i gave up. I was just tired of failing diets and what not. Turning back for me. The birth of my 2nd child my son in july 2013. During labor my heart was too stressed. Post labor bp started. So my dr sent me to the cardiologist. Heart issuses began. At my age 27? No. He said you need to lose weight. Uh well i tryed. But in Mid may i had a er trip that got me scared. Then my knees. My dr talked to me about banding surgery. I gave some thought, finally in oct i went in to a seminar. My insurane does 3 months, 100% covered. So i signed up i knew all the risks and my therapist helped. I was banded dec 19th 2014. I told only my mom and husband. Some how everyone already knows. I lost 30lbs so far. Im still sore at the port. My dr does 2wks pre op and 4wks post op liquids. Im soo done with liquids. I almost cryed the other day. I had a down day. But 7days post op i did a trip to the er. Thanks to a car trip. My stiches opend a bit. My Vitamins, mineral were low, dyhydrated. My brother called to brag about his weightloss, how he was able to do it alone, I just feeling like a quiter. Did i give to soon on diets? Should i of tryed harder? Just 2nd guessing. My hubby supports me all the way and told me to be proud its not easy to do what i did. Anyone else having down moments?

Wow im still on liquids. My dr does 4wks post. Im so done with liquids. I just want to hit the pureed foods

Thanks. I feel better today. I realize this is not easy. Specially having to cook for a 3yr old and a 1yr old. But it will be all worth it when i can run and play with them for more then 5 min. When i can go to the dance with the hubby and not just sit there...

I feel u on the lose skin. I was banded on dec 19th 2014. I lost almost 20lbs post. And my skin is starting to hang. I use almond oil/vitamin e oil.
