  2. An average of about 40 min of cardio 7 days a week (treadmill, elliptical, hiking). I have a desk job. So, I make sure I get the cardio in. Weight machines for about 40 mins 3 or 4 days a week. Including the 6 months prior to surgery, I have lost 110 lbs as of this morning. Life is great!
  3. Go to the world according to embrace fb page. She has some recipes that use that syrup.

  6. It's been almost 4 weeks for me with a 15 pound weight loss. I've decided that I am done looking at that scale. Just continuing to stick to the plan. It will come off eventually. I had lost a lot of weight in the 7 months prior to surgery. So, I think that might have something to do with it as well.
  7. Lean hamburg. Chew well.
  8. Same here Addawn! I had surgery on 1/27 and I have lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I had lost 55 lbs in the 8 months prior to starting pre op diet. Then I lost another 10 lbs on the pre op diet. 75 lbs total now and 95 to go. I already am feeling much more confident and happy.
  9. I did the pureed for the first 2 days of my soft foods. Mashed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, sugar free applesauce, pudding, and Greek yogurt. If at any time you have trouble with soft foods you can go back th o full liquids for a day and try again. I haven't had to do that yet. Good luck.
  10. I'm on soft foods 10 days after surgery. Mashed potatoes, unsweetened applesauce, Greek yogurt low fat, low fat sugarfree pudding, canned chicken, tuna fish, baked fish, low fat mozzarella sticks, and low fat cottage cheese, and ground meat. Small bites, chew well, and eat slowly. Good luck!
  11. I'm eating canned chicken and tuna fish and baked fish now at 10 days post op. Moist foods and very small bites and eat slowly and chew well.
  12. I lost 5 lbs at my 10 day post op apt. My doctor just said that everybody looses at different paces and not to be worried. Just make sure that I am getting the required protein and stick to the diet and the weight will come off.
  13. I am only a few days post op. It was my first day on ful liquids. I had cream of wheat with skim milk. Later, I had a 4oz protein shake. I was stuffed and felt it was coming back up. Not barfing but like it was being forced back up because there was no room for it. Felt like there was something stuck in my throat all day. I can't seem to eat the amount of food they say I should be eating.
  14. Autocorrect! 3 days post op and I am also experiencing these problems. Any answers?
  15. I am only 3 days post 'll and am ex poo experiencing many of the same issues. I would love to hear any responses to this.

  19. My surgery is scheduled for January 27. I'm so excited and a little nervous as well. I am not looking forward to the protein shake pre surgical diet though. I will be starting that January 17.
