12 weeks post op
Hey everybody. I'm 12 weeks post op. My surgery was January 13 and I have lost 69 pounds since then. I have a check up tomorrow so I'll dibs out how much I've lost. I feel like I've been doing well with walking and working out. But right now I feel like my cravings are coming back. I can only eat 3oz of food right now. And my stomach can't handle more cause I get sick. I've been keeping up with my protien intake and water. But I am craving crunchy in my life! I want crackers or chips or something. Any suggestions. I heard something about kale chips. I'm do worried because the last thing I want to do its go back to being over 500lbs. Btw on the day I had surgery I was 542lbs. Last doctor's appointment I was 473. So I'll let you know how tomorrow goes. Anyways. Help a sister out.

Ppl having bariatric surgery in their twenties!
I'm almost three weeks out. It was a rough start for me in the beginning. Had an infection in 1 of my incision so I ended up going back to the emergency room a day after I was discharged. But now I am okay getting around fine. I can walk I can do regular things. It still hurts to bend over, or sneeze, and lie on my side. Hurts terribly. But it's all muscle pain. I'm hoping it's not serious

New in town :)
Hey doll! I am 22 here. Currently residing in Indiana. Welcome! I'm kind of new Here also. Just had surgery January 13. So I'm pretty fresh off the boat. This is truly a life changing journey and it can be a positive journey if you follow the doctors orders. You'll get to meet some pretty amazing ppl and your eyes will open to many things you never thought before. You will have your ups and downs. But hopefully more ups. I just had my down today when I went through a terrible two hr dumping syndrome session. But afterwards you feel better and you learn lessons. I'm two weeks and three days out and I've already lost 27 pounds. This can be a blessing if you remain strong

Two weeks and three days out. ...
So I am 2 weeks in 3 days out, and I'm still experiencing muscle pain on one side of my stomach. It's kind of like a pinching pain inside. Now done of you know that I had an infection shortly after surgery in one of my incisions. It wasn't a deep wound and it's almost completely healed and I'm almost done with my antibiotics. No pain it anything there. But on my right side of my stomach hurts when I'm in the process of standing up. Or like if I lie down it's a pain trying sit up cause the side hurts. Somebody plz tell me this is normal. I mean I'm walking I'm getting around the house fine I walk upstairs fine. Is this normal. Anybody else experience this?

I'm baaaaaack
Hey y'all. I'm back! I'm feeling so much better. Thank you so much for the well wishes and prayers. I really appreciate it. My infectious wound is healing fast. It's no longer even painful. I was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday. And ever since I got home I have not taken the strong pain meds. Only Tylenol here and there I couldn't stand feeling weak from the oxycodon and valium. So I dropped that real quick when I gOt home. I'm starting to eat. I was having serious trouble eating. And getting my protein in. My body has rejected eggs, chicken, and fish. Lol ugh. And I so don't even want to touch any type of red meat ever.

Back in the hospital:'(
Alright so Friday I was discharged. But I was in an incredible amount of pain. Too much to sleep or eat. My temperature kept escalating. So Sunday things got really bad. I went to the er with a 103.6 temperature. Turns out I have an infection underneath one of my incisions. It's being treated. They're packing the wound which is the worst experience I've been through. Idk how long I can do this packing thing. Please keep me in your prayers
