  1. So far my blood sugars are amazing, but I am just barely starting out. How are your vitamins? I am taking calcium citrate, iron, multi, and sublingual B12. I have heard B12 is great for energy.

  3. I am so frustrated. I lost almost a pound a day on my preop diet, now post op and hardly loosing. I was expecting for the fastest weight loss to be in the beginning and for it to then slow, but with only a 3lb loss I don't know how slow it could be later on.
  4. I am right there with you... Day 2 of 15 days of full liquid diet... I am a little miserable but alive. I am getting sleeved January 27th.
  5. I would love even a lean and green meal at this point. 15 days of full liquid diet. At least I can say one down and only 14 to go!
  6. I was very I'll after my EGD. The anesthesia totally did me in...
  7. I just started my preop diet today. I am scheduled for the 27th... I am already fighting my brain. My brain keeps telling me I need to eat... I am so hungry! My body on the other hand isn't as hungry as I expected to be. We can do this!
  8. I start my liquid diet Tuesday. I am feeling really overwhelmed and very much in mourning as I get closer and closer. My love affair with food is about to end and I am terrified.
  9. I didn't get my date until everything was completed. Diet, psych, egd, and Drs clearance were all completed before I got a date. I am using isoprene rtd and powder.
  10. I am both excited and terrified... We have to figure out if my husband will be able to get the time off of work or if we need to hire a nanny for the week, my kids hav dentist appointments two days after surgery... There is a lot to figure out... But it will give me less time to be nervous so that is good! I am beyond ready for this and we will make it work.
  11. I just got moved up three weeks... Surgery will now be January 27th...
  12. I just got a call and am moving up to January 27th... I preop Monday. This is getting real.
  13. I put up a preop album... It is hard seeing myself this big... But I have to see where I am coming from... Less than six weeks to go.
  14. We love kale in our house... Not so much on its own because it is not all that tasty but it is a great source of calcium and fiber and being dairy free we really have to work to get our calcium. I am sure you will do great as well... It is getting so close. Stay strong!
  15. Weight wise I have a set of 3lb weights that I use for high reps and a 25lb free weight that I use for bicep curls and lifting behind my head for my triceps. I use my kids as weights a lot too. My daughter is one and my son is two and they love helping mommy do her work out. My son actually just finished doing a "bat wing" work out we found on YouTube with me. My family is all big and growing up I learned really bad eating and exercise habits that followed me through life and so now I want to do right by my kids and show them how to be healthy and happy. My new blender actually showed up yesterday and I have done two smoothies with it so far. For breakfast we had a kale, pineapple, and mango smoothie and for lunch I followed up with vanilla isopure, ice, decaf coffee, and two pumps of sugar free syrup. It wasn't starbucks good, but it wasn't bad either and I am full. I am a little jealous that your diet is shorter and not all liquids, but I just keep telling myself this is for my kids because if I don't loose this weight I worry I won't make it to see them married.
  16. Yay! I am so happy to see your fantastic results. Congratulations! You can do this!
  17. I will be doing some before and after pictures. I'm planning to do before the liquid diet, again before surgery, and then follow up every few weeks until goal weight.
  18. I am set for February 17th with my preop coming up on the 20th... I am so ready!
  19. I will be on a two week liquid diet starting on February 3rd. I convinced my husband to get me a fancy new blender for this whole process and am very excited to use it once it arrives. Right now I am starting some weighted exercises to concentrate on the areas I am worried about being too loose like my triceps plus walking a few miles a day. I have a few ladies here who are also going through the process and the support has been amazing. We have had several protein sample gatherings and I have found quit a few options for the pre surgery diet as well as after surgery.
  20. I am incredibly nervous and excited at the same time. This process has been ten months in coming and I am so ready to take this final step! May I add you? I would love someone for support through the liquid diet!
  21. I am getting sleeved on February 17th and am looking for buddies on this life changing journey.
  22. Any room for a February sleever? Surgery is set for February 17th and I am soooo ready!
  23. It is so nice to see others in the same boat as I am... VSG in 46 days and I am so ready for the help. "Not that fat" has left me CHT and diabetic... I am ready to not need medication and not have to prick my finger a million times a day!
