  6. Good morning! I am scheduled for gastric sleeve tomorrow morning 1/26. I just want to thank you ALL for keeping this place alive. Bariatric pal has been a HUGE wealth of information for me that I believe I would have even paid a fee for (but glad I don't have too LOL) Like I said I just want to give a thanks to all my BP friends that I've never met before but have more in common with than my daily life friends. Love to you all!!! Amy☆☆☆
  7. I have heard SOOOOOOO many people say that's their only regret. I can't wait to use that line too! Thank you all for the well wishes. Going to take lots of pictures tomorrow. Amy☆☆☆

  9. Congratulations on tomorrow. I really feel like you will know what to do as soon as you HAVE to do it. Now that I'm just a few days way from surgery I can see where my family NEEDS to make changes. But I can't be the one to make them I guess. Even though I would love too. They are 20 and 18 and 12 and my hubby. Hubby will eat great but it's those dog gone kids! Lol I fear being one of "those" patients who lose weight and tell others they need to also. I don't wanna be like that but geesh it's SOOOOOOO hard! Lol Amy☆☆☆
  10. Congratulations. It does go by pretty quick. I remember thinking how slow it was gonna go and whined and whined about it. Now that I'm schedule for this coming Thursday 1/26 I look back and think. oh my gosh where did the time go! ?! Amy☆☆☆

  14. I kinda thought the same thing with all the horror stories the last few days. I have 6 more days to go. . I realized through the worst experience of my life when we were told our 18 yr old senior ( very last day of his senior year)(only 8 months ago yesterday) that he may have cancer and was taken 60 miles away to an oncology dept for 6 LONG days that PRAISE GOD ABOVE he did NOT have cancer!! we still do cat scans blood tests etc but he endured a million tests and highs and lows without showing me or his daddy any fear. If he can do that at 18 then I can do this and handle a little nausea and vomiting. Just gotta toot my baby boys horn. He is a real trooper!!!! Good luck to us all. P.s. he was admitted back there 3 times for vomiting which was all dehydration related. Good reason for us to drink drink drink through the nausea. Amy☆☆☆
  15. Congrats!! One week to go for me. Get lots of rest. Amy☆☆☆

  20. Lol ..That's why she's JamieLogical. Shes got a great head on her shoulders!!!! Lol For me it's the coolest feeling in the world. I challenge you to try to get past 97 when and if they have you count backwards from 100. It's like your on drugs for a few seconds but legal drugs!! I giggle when I say. Think of the show "That 70 Show " when it shows the group in the basement smoking pot and the cameras showing their faces going around and around the table. Kinda what it feels like to me. Lol. Amy☆☆☆
