    I think I had more trouble recovering than most. It took me almost two weeks to not be in horrible pain. I have a chronic pain condition which contributed to this. I'm three weeks out now and feeling great. It's hard at first but hang in there!

    I'm taking something equivalent to juice plus but from Sam's so it's cheaper and then taking extra vitamin d and b

    I noticed when I eat I don't lose as much so I have been trying to stick with protein drinks and only eating food once a day. Also I make sure to take good supplements for the fruits and vegetables and nutrition.

    I'm 5 days post op and I'm really struggling with fluid intake. Everything I drink hurts going down. I think it may have something to do with my hernia that was repaired. I'm only on liquids but there's not much around. How did you guys get through your two weeks of liquids and get enough protein?

    I had surgery Friday and came home from the hospital last night. I am having extreme pain and stiffness in both of my hands. There weren't any issues with this while I was in the hospital. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure how concerned I should be.

    I have United Healthcare and it took two weeks. There was a holiday during the two weeks. My doctor's office and I both called several times to check the status to try and move things more quickly

    I am having my surgery 12/12/14. I am so excited but also nervous. I know everyone is different but I'm worried about having a lot of excess skin. I need to lose 160lbs. Does anyone have any advice about this? Is this something everyone has issues with after surgery?
