  1. So I'm 24 down. I guess we are all I the same boat...normal maybe. I hear after 6 weeks things get moving again.
  2. I can't believe how horrible this had been for you. Still sending prayers.
  3. I really want my stall to be over too. Hoping solids will help.
  4. She wants me off of them. She says we use them as a safety blanket.
  5. 3 weeks and stalled. Can't wait till 6!!
  6. chicken or tuna salad, chicken vegetable soup, yams, vegetable soup with protein. This was pretty much my purée diet. Oh and sugar free Applesauce. It's a short stage thankfully.
  7. That is really interesting... I'm gonna breath deep and hard today.
  8. Stall stall stall please end. I know calories are not our main concern but about how many calories are you all getting a day. I was around 6-700 but since I went back to work I've been close to 1000. That shouldn't be too much but feels like it is.
  9. So is this week over yet? Next week my NUT wants me off protein drinks. I'm not good with that. They make protein easy
  10. oh you poor thing. You may have just did it all too fast
  11. I go for my post op today. Going to ask about exercise. I'm still bleeding from the incision I got the infection in. So it will be interesting to see what he says about that. I'm down from 199 to 182.2. Since I went from a band to a sleeve he said the loss would be slower and more steady for whatever. There is good and bad to that. Good maybe the change won't cause a ton of nosy questions from people I don't want to talk too. Bad is I just want to be down to goal and maintain from there. But my want it now attitude is about 80% my problem to start. Day 2 back at work. Wish I could have just taken off till the New Years. Oh well. Next life i will be born rich skinny and gorgeous. This life I'll keep working on it.
  12. thursday is the only day this week we don't have a luncheon! I've found away out of today's. I'm just taking it day by day
  13. Went back to work today. I find that everyone here is eating and eating. I don't think I realized the constant intake. When people aren't eating they're talking about eating. No one has said I look different or anything. Which is ok by me. However the few people who know about surgery have said I look pale. Thanks. I'm ready for a nap.
  14. I do kinda feel like u. Although I have my first follow up this coming week so I haven't seen him yet. I had issues early on and kept calling and kept getting the that's normal speech. Eventual went to urgent care to find I had a nasty infection. Before surgery if I called office they called back within minutes. After it was in a few hours and I felt unheard. I feel like I bought a used car and now that I have the car they don't want to help or deal with me. But we will see on Tuesday how it goes
  15. Glad your getting some home health care. Eek on insurance!! Motivation to get better right :-). Positive thoughts and prayers.
  16. Oh I hope it's not your gallbladder! Because they suck and you'll have to come up with a new story!
  17. I see my dr Tuesday. I hadn't thought I might be anemic. I feel a little better today. I am tired. Stools are fine (best they've ever been). My sleep is all whacky. I think anemia would actually make me faint actually. Hmmm. Thank u again
  18. So had my procedure nov 24. Battled an infection about a week out. Doing better with that. Doing good with water and protein. But the last two days experiencing dizziness when I stand ( even slowly). My BP remains around 110/80 so it's not that. No signs of dehydration. Maybe it's my blood glucose level. I don't know. I nearly pass out if I stand too quickly. Anyone else experiencing that?
  19. I had it several weeks when I had my lapband two years ago. I finally drank a very small amount of sprite or gingerale and immediately burped it all out. I know you shouldn't have soda. But I was desperate. I only had it the first few days with the sleeve. But I also walked as much as I could and never laid completely flat the first 2 weeks.
  20. Good luck and congrats. You are about to being a fabulous journey.
