  1. What to do, where to start?? I feel really good but it could be the Dilaudid. I have some abdominal selling bit no pain. No driving for a week. Works for me!
  2. I had the VSG yesterday. I have little to no pain today. I feel rather well :-) Good luck friends!
  3. I just had my sleeve done. Feeling pretty decent.
  4. Tomorrow is the day!!! Clear liquids and bowel prep are in effect right now. It will be a lo g night waiting to get to the hospital and the surgery getting underway.
  5. My Surgeon didn't require me to do an extended liquid diet. Just 24 hrs before and Mag Citrate at Noon the day before.
  6. I'm March 5th :-) Happy Dance!!
  7. It's gone rather quickly! I am sooo excited. I'm driving my hubby crazy! We are going to the beach in July so I can't wait to feel good and maybe wear a bathing suit for the first time in about 20 yrs. Good Luck to you as well!
  8. March 5th my life changes forever :-) VSG
  9. March 5th my life changes forever :-) VSG
  10. Sorry submitted to ins for approval 1/8/2015
  11. I saw my surgeon 11/23/14. We submitted to insurance 1/8/14. I received my approval letter today.
  12. Hola. Mi llamo es Charlotte. Estados Unodos. 37 anos. Y tu?
  13. I love mean ppl :-) I get to us my natural born talent of sarcasm on them.
  14. I would be like aww you were ugly and you still are but I guess not everyone changes. This is strictly because I don't like people and people have made me that way :-) I am happy and always welcoming of new friends, but I will burn an aszhole.
  15. I do not feel I implied anything. Perception is individualistic. It's sad that one continues to make excuses instead of changes.
  16. I just checked and the sleeve is covered. Some of my black cloud has been lifted.
  17. I have limited knowledge about the sleeve. I will research it. I have studied and had prepared myself for bypass. We'll see. Insurance will have to approve the sleeve or I won't be getting anything except fatter I guess. I don't think sleeve is covered. I'm very discouraged at this point especially because I have paid my $700 program fee and I can't get that back.
  18. Because of my history of crohn's disease and feeding tubes my Dr. will only to the sleeve. I was hoping for bypass. I am disappointed. I also have a hernia and an enlarged node on my pancreas. I'm irritated.
  19. This is why I don't like ppl. If they can't be an active support person to my life and serve a positive purpose then I don't need them around. I have family I havent spoken to in over 20 yrs because they suck :-)
  20. The typically like for patients to be 100 lbs overweight for surgical intervention. Comorbities may change that requirement some. I am unsure.
  21. I was 5'6" I shrank 2 inches due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. I weigh 265
  22. It doesn't matter how many times we fall as long as we get back up and continue forward. Fall 9 times stand up 10. Don't give up on yourself. Do accept your own excuses why failing is ok. If you do what you've always done you'll get what you've always gotten. Remember, nothing changes if nothing changes. I think you can achieve anything you want to achieve. I will cheer for you.
