  2. I feel a lot better..Energy level still pretty iffy.
  3. I hope yall 2 chicks!!!! Can I watch? LOL.. (the LOL after makes it not perverted)
  4. Rather than long winded responses, I feel that long winded videos explain stuff better.
  5. first full week post op. I just realized I posted this in the gastric bypass forum, can a moderator please move this thread?
  6. Off topic, but i have been craving Hummus for some reason...I cant wait till i get to the puree phase in a week or two..
  7. Another question, I was alway a very "active" guy sexually, we probably did it 3 to 5 times a week. But I notice now that the actual orgasm feels way stronger and the ol wood is a bit more in the hard oak family if you know what i mean..I kinda feel like Im in my 20's again.. Is this normal??
  8. Yeah Im usually a half and half guy...
  9. I was pretty much immune to caffeine and craved it. I could drink coffee 20 minutes before I went to sleep and fall right to sleep. This time it woke me up and hit me pretty good..And it did have a funny taste. Could have been the fat free milk I used..
  10. I was a big coffee drinker, like 5 to 6 cups( 7-11 medium to large) per day, up until last Saturday. My doctor said I can drink coffee but obviously recommended decaf but did not off limits caffeine. So this morning I tried some regular coffee and I must say it did taste way different to me..It also effected me pretty fast. Anyone else have any experiences with feeling like you did Chrystal meth after drinking coffee??
  11. day 3 was the turning point for me. Felt 100,000,000 times better.
  12. I have been craving tuna, salmon and Hummus....Cant wait to get to puree stage...
  13. that's gangsta!!!! 2 days post op I couldn't even think of the deed.
  14. your doctor didnt give you a strict post op protocol? I cant have anything like that till the 5th week...They say you can rip your staple lines. I also have heard of some patients eating scrambled eggs the day after surgery...So each doctor is different. I am however amazed at the large amount of patients who receive little to no post op guidance or diets. This is a very serious operation and complications can be life threatening. You need to protect your new sleeve and the Doctor should have given you very strict guidelines post op.
  15. my doctor strictly recommends staying away from pork or beef for a while, like 3 months. Try fish, talapia or salmon, crab cakes,Tuna and Avacado, ect...
  16. So am I the record holder so far at 5 days post op?
  17. Im 5 days and getting a little sore and swelling, but no redness or oozing either. I was wondering the same thing.
  18. Figured I throw the word "SEX" in a topic here, I would get a ton of responses!!! LOL Dirty girls.... On a side note. 5 days post op for me .....Probably wasnt good for my wife, but was good for me..lol
  19. Yes thats kind of what I meant. When eating so low of carbs you need a rush of them every now and then to reset the hormones and chemicals in your body. When I was hard core low carb dieting back in the days I would do one really big carb meal a week. The next day I would be up 4 lbs heavier but 2 days after that the 4 lbs plus an additional 2 would shed off weekly. The weeks before I started doing that, my body would fight me big time.
  20. Not even from a nutritionists stand point, but how can a surgeon no provide a patient with a post op protocol to prevent injury or complications? You rip a staple and you can literally die..
  21. Did the OP ever say where she got her surgery done? I think we need to put her doctor on a DO NOT USE list...How can they give such poor guidance post op??
  22. I sent it, check your email, dont know if it will help you cause youre 3 weeks out and Im still on phase II, you would be on Phase III puree foods. Just concentrate of getting 64 grams of Protein and 64 oz of liquids by week 4. Youll be fine. Stop with the baby foods and bananas. Get a decent pre mixed Protein Drink you can tolerate I suggest Premier Protein products for pre mixed, and genpro powder to add to your yogurts and puddings. no more than 4 oz at a time, go slow youre still healing.
  23. Did your doctor give you a diet plan at all??? I can email you mine...for the first 4 weeks.
  24. Just curious how long it took for your incisions to feel normal again? Specifically the largest one. It has been sore today while trying to sit or put my socks on. And its tender if I touch the stomach around and above it and between another incision. No redness, discharge or swelling or anything like that, just tender and burns at times. Other than that, I feel good!
  25. Im 5 days post op and have dropped about 20 lbs from the day before surgery.
