  1. It does go away in a few seconds.
  2. It scared the crap out of me, I got up and walked to the door to see the kids outside playing in the snow and I got lightheaded and dizzy, I almost blacked out..
  3. I am over 2 weeks post op and down over 25lbs. The past 2 days I have been getting very lightheaded as I stand up. it gets to the point on 2 occasions I had to sit back down. Anyone have this issue and should I be concerned? Im getting plenty of fluids. Could this simply be from the rapid weight loss?
  4. Today I am officially the lightest I have been in over 15 years. When I met my wife I was 265 and 28 years old. Simply amazed how this thing works.
  5. Today is by birthday and I got a double session today.Once in the AM once in the PM!!!
  6. Exactly 2 weeks post op and my 43rd birthday. Figured I would post a picture of the scale from the morning before surgery and this morning. All weights as always are first thing in the AM in my birthday suit !!!!
  7. Add nut butters like almond and peanut butter to your diet, small portions and high in calories and proteins. But get the natural stuff with no sugar.
  8. Im on full liquids for 21 days, then on to soft foods like tuna, baked fish,hummus,ect... for a few weeks, then on to most foods with the exception of nuts beef jerky type foods.
  9. It is tough because you really dont see how much of our social lives revolve around drinking and more so eating. I feel like I cant socialize just yet as Im only 2 weeks post op and not even on soft foods yet...
  10. Yeah are you home yet? doing ok?
  11. I dont know where your picking up attitude but whatever you read into whatever you want to read into...You in fact were responding directly to the comment I made about surgery in mexico so I responded with my opinion and personal thoughts on it. nuff said. Good day maam.
  12. I simply said I personally would never go to Mexico. The regulations are way different down there, and I dont trust it. Not to get into a pissing match about Mexico surgeons, just not for me. I read horror stories on here of people who had leaks on the plane trip home and wound up in ICU. Just do your research.
  13. May I suggest you watch my video on my tough decision to go through with the surgery. And I would never go to Mexico for anything of this importance.
  14. Thank you so much. I can assure you making the decision to get surgery was no easy task for me. It took tons of soul searching to realize it was my end game and only move left. Im glad you're doing well and so jealous your surgeon lets you progress that fast, mine has me on liquids for 21 days post op...After that I can progress to Tuna and soft fish and what not. I was drinking a ton but the PA in my surgeons office keeps scaring the crap out of me and telling me to slow down, cause I can pop a staple. I dont think its as easy as she makes it out to seem..But Im better off just listening to them. My freind's mom didn't listen to her doctors and died as a result of complications from the surgery and that has always been in the back of my mind..
  15. I highly recommend using Premier Protein drinks especially the BUTTERSCOTCH flavor as creamer, it awesome!!!
  16. subscribe to my Youtube channel it should notify you when I upload a new video.
  17. I just tried the banana protein as creamer, EFFIN DELICIOUS!!!
  18. I feel ya...Im 3 weeks away and craving Tuna, salmon and Hummus....This artificial sweetened sugar free yogurt and pudding crap gets old real fast!!!
  19. My doctor was willing to release me the same day, but I opted to stay overnight due to an underlying blood clotting disease I suffer from, just in case. I had surgery on Monday at 12pm, I was on Tuesday by 1pm. Tuesday night was difficult, but by Wednesday I felt so much better. I recover very fast and I guess it could depend on your overall health going into the surgery.
  20. Thanks man, I try to keep it real honest. This is a major life choice and you need to go into it well informed and educated and dont need anyone blowing smoke up your ass.. Too many less than moral doctors out there.
  21. My cousin who had the VSG also recommended using some Premier Protein drink specifically the strawberries and cream or banana flavor as creamer.
