Bubblebutt, I am trying one last time to straighten this out. Under Be HOnest thread I thought you asked if anyone has done their own fills. I thought you said you had twice. If I read that wrong I stand corrected. I do not understand you. I do not understand why you can't say the same type of statement with less bluntness and sarcasim, but once again I have not been sending nasty PM's to anyone other than you. I am sure one of the monitors can check that. Names some names of people I have sent nasty PMs to. I have saved everyone of my PMs I have sent out. Simply because my box is not close to being full. Another thing, I did PM you with my thoughts as I was not going to say things like that so everyone could see. When you ask me to not PM you anymore I did not. I did not read your other PM as I felt it would be hateful and I did not want to have it roll around in my head that night. I deleted it the next day without reading it. I do not want to fight with you anymore. Call me weak or whatever you want but I do tend to think about it more than I like.

WOW, Bubble you get down and dirty. That statement is so untrue. I have not PM many people at all. Lord, I just learned how to do it. I sure have not PMed anyone anything nasty. I PM you twice and only twice and told you I thought you were rude. I also think you must be unhappy. Copy it and put it on the site so everyone can see what I wrote you. In fact, have everyone you have been comparing notes with and have them copy and paste also. I would like to see them myself. Once again, I have not been rude to anyone but you. You should be able to take it because you sure dish it out. Now, copy and paste and put them up there.

Yes, Transformer that is exactly what I was saying. Also, I was being sarcastic about us being above everyone else. My experience has been quite the opposite of being looked up to. Notice the break... Denise, I did not mean anything bad. I promise. Normally I am a very nice person. I am not a fighter by nature but will not back down when my feathers are ruffled. That came from my grandmother, bless her heart. I am trying to deal with sarcasim on these threads. Thought I would try it. It is not fun for me. I probably have made the mistakes you have noticed and I did not make them intentionally as I would bet is the case for many. When I type I do not want to have to be perfect on this site. I sometimes type fast and make mistakes. I want to be forgiven and not constantly judged. Sometimes when I enter these threads I do not know what they are going to be about as the title does not give the whole idea away. I am a little surprised over some of the things I read. When I first joined I was hesitant to post and ask questions. Now I have read some complaints about newbies. I am sure I made some of the mistakes in that area also. I have stopped asking questions and try to figure it out. If I don't figure it out by looking for the answers I do without the answer. Sorry if I upset you.

I decided I do want to rant about something and that is the life span of dogs. Why do elephants and gorillas live very long lives and dogs don't. I have a little Pekingese that I love dearly. He is only three and started having seizures. Why is it when I get a good dog that I love something like this happens? The tears are flowing as I write.

I kind of figured you would be the first to send your sarcasim. I also kind of enjoyed it. (smile) You get worked up easily. Take a chill pill bubble.

It is unbelieveable the things I read on this site. I am a teacher and I guess we teachers are a little above the rest of the world as we learn to read anything. We grade thousands of papers a year written in many different forms. Your children would fail if we did not figure out how to do this.

Do I eat when I am not hungry? Oh yeah! I figure that's how I got here.

I want to add something I think may be important. When my son was a baby he would stop eating and want down from his high chair. When my daughter was a baby I would put her down from the highchair and she would go around the table to people still sitting there and open her mouth for more food. She was about 15 months old. My son is 25 now and never has had a battle with food. My daughter does and constantly fights the urge to want to eat. I think it has to be something to do with genes. When I was a teenager I did not have a weight problem but I grew up in an age where fast food restaurants were not around the corner. My mom cooked and I liked some things, some I did not. It was unheard of to go fix something else if you didn't like what was for supper. In fact, I never thought of that. So food was not temping all the time. I do remember I loved school lunches and have not turned my nose up to much of anything my whole life. My son is very fussy about what he will eat and my daughter is like me, she loves just about everything. I wonder if these things have anything to do with being overweight.

When I was 17 my friend and I each bought a candy bar. We both weighed about 125. 3 days later she still had about 2/3rd's of hers. Mine was gone that same day!!!! I think I should of realized then I was going to have a problem. Each year of my life I gained a little more until I became diabetic. I stayed about 180 for several years then had to go on insulin and put on 40 lbs. in a year and a half. Talk about wanting to eat then. I could eat a 12 inch sub and want to get again in an hour. I have always enjoyed eating.

I think most of you are younger than I am but I do worry a bit about how my face and neck will look. My stomach too. I did this surgery mostly because I am diabetic. I was staying out of control too much and my friend said the surgery cured diabeties sometimes. I am trying to remember that. I did not feel I had a choice. Get the surgery and live longer or die early.

I have the 10ccVg band. It is also the only band my doctor uses. My first fill was 4.9. second fill 1cc. For some reason I got light headed and felt sick so he stopped. Third 1.6 ccs. Lots of foods are getting stuck, my fault. Still can eat more than I need. Just ate a full bun size hot dog. I only stop because I know I need to, not because I am full. I am still on insulin so doc said he was afraid I would have a hard time losing. I lost weight after surgery rapidly and then it has slowed down greatly since then. I am still trying eat right and not get discouraged.

I agree Bandster, especially withe the healthy debate. I tried to have one on a thread and WOW I was bashed by a couple of people. I can take it but my respect for them went down considerably. I now notice also how negative they are in many of their posts. I like healthy debates, not name calling and mud slinging. Kinda takes the fun out of the debate.

Voo, I like honest people too. Very important to me and hard to fine!! I like direct people also. I love nice people as i said but only if it is genuine, not if they are only nice to your face and someone else other times.

71 here today in Arkansas which is a bit unusual but then we have weird weather here. I miss the snow. We get very, very little.

As I was reading different posts tonight I noticed some responses made me feel good and some stirred up bad feelings. it got me to thinking about how people make us feel. I have always liked nice people, people that seem to really care and want to help in even the simpliest way. I don't like people that seem to have an opinion and only theirs seems to be important. I don't like people that are negative or seem to come at me with strong statements. I like people to approach me kindly and show interest in me. I don't like "Know it alls" unless they really know. I love intelligent people. I enjoy confident people, yet they are humble. I love people that listen, really listen.

One more thing and then I will be quiet. I started this post because I want to learn. I want to understand you, the parent. I guess I do not want to leave my profession yet. I still get a lot of pleasure from my students and teaching them. I am afraid I will miss them very much and regret leaving. I do not teach for the pay check. I have a husband with his own business. I guess I am hoping this will help me become a more tolerant teacher and whether you believe it or not I want that. P.S. When you want people to really listen, lighten your tone.

Thank you Uniqueone, I am trying all the time to be the best teacher I can be to the children. My principal says she loves the way I am with the kids. The kids know I love them also. You cannot fool them. I am tired of dealing with parents. There are always some very unreasonable ones and they throw their opinions around more than the others. They seem to have a chip on their shoulder and we, the teacher seem to be the one they want to take it out on. We are now allowed any mistakes. Just like the teacher saying, how sad. I wonder if she regreated that as soon as she said it. No, we cannot say anything or make a mistake, not one. Well, every teacher I have met makes mistakes.

What do you hate most about teachers? I am a teacher. I am tired of parents complaining. You cannot please all the parents in your class. Why are so many people down on teachers and why do you get angry with the teacher before you even find out the whole story? You can answer if you choose.
