Thank you! I'm finding a lot of people from highschool have been so supportive. I've been doing girl days with these people that I haven't seen in over 11 years. Its nice.

Week 1 post op roux en y
I get the unflavored protein from isopure. I make smoothies, add it to pudding, and so on. I love it. Keep up the good work!

RNY in 07 and lost track of myself
Keep up the work. And welcome back

I'm sorry you're going through so much. Make sure you get your protein in. My body has stopped rejecting protein and since I can have it the pounds have been shedding off. Take 15-30 min a day to get your heart rate up and tell your family to stop acting like children. Take care of yourself. If you want to vent, send me a message!

Memories
I had surgery Oct 27. Extremely excited about my process. Dating a new man, down to size 22 (I have never been a size 22), happy. I'm losing some friends and that's fine. I've always been the type of girl that didn't put up with much bs when it came to jealousy and all that. I have a group of friends that we called ourselves the fat girls. Now that I've had surgery, and my other friend had the sleeve, we're both finding out how rude people are. I wish we had a support group around the Joplin, or Missouri area. Or friends who are going through the same thing. People to meet up for lunch, or a movie.

Ladies..Fooling around after surgery?
I haven't had sex since surgery, mainly bc I went through a bad break up the week of my surgery. However I'm dating a new guy and taking it very slow. But excited about when it does happen. Its good to know you ladies didn't have a problem. It gives me hope!

Embarassing question
I had it. I'm jot afraid. I blamed it on my kiddo when in all reality I was bigger. Don't be embarrassed.

2-weeks post-op
My nurse said that insomnia is normal. Our bodies are in overdrive to burn the fat and such. I had issues with my incision site, but I was lazy and didn't want to move. I hurt. Worst decision. So I hit the gym hard, and the next week I was feeling better. I'm lucky if I get 5 he's of sleep. However I'm rested.

4 Weeks Post-Op!
I don't weight every week. With my personality I will be focused on that and get bummed out. With my Dr we go for follow ups 1 week, 1 month, 3 month and then yearly till 5years. After my next appointment (3 month) then I will start weighing myself monthly. Congrats on your success. Keep it up!

Friends...
Surgery Oct. 27, 2014 My body has gone through so many changes in such a short time. I am so happy and if I had to do it all over again, I would. There is nothing better than being proud of who I am. However, I'm starting to realize that some of my friends arnt happy at all. I have been hurt by some comments on social media. I will admit that there were a lot of people I kept my surgery away from. I dont know exactly why I did that and I know I hurt them in the process. However, making comments saying they were going to eat a greasy cheeseburger and cheese fries around me is crazy and mean. I would kill to be able to eat how I used to before the surgery. But thankful I cant. I need to grow a thicker skin. I just thought that the people who I have been friends with for years would be as happy as I am. I started dating again, new experience being thinner. No one stares at me when I walk into the room and if they do, Im sure its to stare at my beauty. haha. kidding. My daughter has been more loving and wanting me to be around her, its a nice feeling, thats for sure. Need new friends. Ones that will support me in my decisions.

Your dream outfit
I'm a cosmetologist, so fashion is huge for me. However, I cant wait to wear boots with skinny jeans, and a cute top.

not able to keep anything down the last few days...
Monday I will be six weeks out. I have had a hard time keeping anything down, so I've been trying to do what I normally do while I eat, but I find that instantly Im going to the bathroom to get sick. Today I've drank mostly Water, tried to have some Protein, and that came right up. Other than this, I have been feeling amazing. I just dont want to get dehydrated.

After pain/bloating
With my gastric, complete pain free was 5 weeks. I was off the pain meds after two weeks and stuck with tylenol. It was manageable, but i was sore. I am starting 6 weeks and I have never felt better
-
To be sleeved or bypass?
Im a completely healthy girl. Before surgery I had a mild case of sleep apnea and thats it. Even at my heaviest. I chose the gastric bypass and I am so glad I did!

This Has Been Quite a Day!
I'll be honest with you. On the liquid diet with my surgery, I didnt follow it like I should of. The doctor just looked at me and smiled and said he knew I was hard headed. I missed my food!! I should of drank more Water and tea for my liquids, but I went out on a date and had dinner, and there were a couple times that I had dinner with my brother.

Water intake
