4 Weeks Post-Op!

It's been four weeks since I had my sleeve. Things are going well. The first week or so it was difficult getting enough protein and water but I am doing much better now. Week 2 and 3 I had a stall and didn't lose any weight at all. I was starting to freak out and kept asking myself what I was doing wrong as I was eating all of the things I'm supposed to eat and I began excerising daily. However, at the end of week 3 the weight started coming off again. Now I am down 30 lbs since surgery and down 55 since the preop diet. I'm started ot notice changes in the way clothes fit and also I just feel better overall. This makes my excited for the future. Oh and Go Lions!

I don't weight every week. With my personality I will be focused on that and get bummed out. With my Dr we go for follow ups 1 week, 1 month, 3 month and then yearly till 5years. After my next appointment (3 month) then I will start weighing myself monthly. Congrats on your success. Keep it up!

I'm about 2 1/2 weeks post-op ( Dec 8), and I've hit a stall already. I've lost 15 since the procedure, but nothing for about a week. I did get aspiration pneumonia and have to go back into the hospital 2 days post-op for another 3 days. I'm wondering if the extra illness is playing into me not losing any more?
