I am also looking for a mentor, I have made it through all the required tests and am meeting my surgeon on the 19th.

Sounds like you have a great plan going. I just finished up all my required appts and will be meeting my surgeon on the 19th and he will give me my surgery date. I'm beyond excited!

Also great news I was cleared for surgery by the bariatric team at Tampa General....I meet my surgeon on the 19th!

I hear your struggle. I just finally sat my family down and told them I needed me time. (Gym time) they take turns cooking on the nights I work out now. :-)

No sleep apnea so I am scheduled for my wellness assessment for this Friday! Next step is to meet the surgeon!

That's awesome to hear. Hoping for good news from my sleep study because they have a wellness appt open friday.

I am waiting for my surgery date buy have been changing bad habits. My worst is fast food, so I lock my purse in the trunk while I'm driving so I don't have access to my money...lol

I am near Tampa , FL and tampa general hospital has a whole bariatric program. It's all done there. I did have to get my clearance from my PCP and sent over my last 2 years of tests. I've done all the blood work also.
