  1. @@Jennna I feel your pain. I have a co-worker who won't say a damn thing about 120 lbs I've lost so far. While everyone is complimenting me, she'll walk out the room or say "have you seen so&so, he's lost x lbs. by just changing his diet and exercising!" or "Is it really that noticeable?!" uhhhh yeah b!+€#!! I went from a 22+(started wearing only yoga pants after 22 didn't fit) to a friggin 12!! I'd say that's pretty significant!!! Some people are just jealous, hateful jerks!! You go girl!! Keep up the good work!!
  2. @@shannalynne yup!!! And it is nowhere near as insulting as being called "gordi" (fatty) almost 120 lbs ago!!!
  3. ...when 20 miles a day is an attainable goal!! Beyond proud of myself today!! 8 months ago I would have laughed at the thought of walking/running 20 miles a week, let alone in a day!!
  4. 226.4 today!! Thanks for keeping me accountable!
  5. Exactly! I had heard about Insurenutrition on this forum. I filled out the form and about 3 weeks later I received an email stating I was approved. Once the Dr's office signed off on the prescription I started receiving my supplements. It took about a month & a half to start receiving them, but they've been coming now since 2 months after surgery, I'm now 7 1/2 months out.
  6. I am 7 months post-op, down 113 lbs and went from a 48J to 38J. The cleavage isn't as nice as it used to be, but I've always been heavy chested, so I don't think I'm going to lose too many cup sizes. =( I long for a 36D
  7. I get 4 cases of protein, vitamins and scar cream all covered, 100%, through my insurance from insurenutrition.com.
  8. Go for it! I find it easier to set smaller goals, but of course have my main goal in mind. You can do anything you set your mind to!!
  9. My biggest pet peeve has got to be people asking me how much weight I've lost, and then when I tell them, they say "slowly but surely you'll lose it all!" uhhh really?! I'm 7 months post-op and down 113 lbs, that's not water weight and it isn't a little bit of weight either!!
  10. You look great! I'm not brave enough to post a tummy pic, but I have a funny little story. I'm on vacation with the fam, as we speak. Yesterday I was getting dressed with a small amount of sunlight coming through the drapes. As I'm standing in front of the mirror in a panty and bra, I say to myself "I don't look half bad! Hell of a lot better than I used to!!" Then my daughter turns on the bathroom light and I say to her "turn that light off, I look better in the dark!!" lmao!!! I can't complain though! I love my flab a whole lot more than I liked my fat!!
  11. My hair loss has also slowed down. I've lost 113 lbs since surgery on 12/29. I was stuck at the same weight for about a month, at 6 month, but I lost major inches within that time
  12. @@angelamarie374 you look amazing woman!! How tall are you?
  13. 229. Sorry I'm so late. I'm on vacation and just so happen to get weighed before jumping on a ride with my son today @ Water Country USA! Lol
  14. Down 111 lbs since surgery 12/29/14, and went from a 48J to a 38J
  15. 235.2 slowly losing!!!!
  16. When you don't ask if you look fat in a bathing suit!! =) better yet when you meet up with family after 6 months of not seeing them and they don't even recognize you!!!!!!!!!!! =)
  17. I forgot to post yesterday 236 =( up a lb. My goal weight is 220
  18. @@ElleLB Thigh tighteness!!!! Yes!!!! I hadn't gotten a pedi in almost a year, and when it came time to lift my leg it didn't hurt and u wasn't in an uncomfortable position for a change. I also like the fact that I can cross my legs without having to have a buttcheek in the air!!! Lmao!! I used to have to turn on one side to cross my legs, not anymore!! Actually, I'm laying down with my legs crossed as see speak! I still, out of habit, stretch my shirts with my arms before putting them on, but now purposely dry them because they're all too big! I don't miss huffing and puffing to put on and tie my shoes, love fitting into regular shoes, a size smaller, and not having to hunt down wide widths!
  19. 235.2 made goal and lost an additional 4.8 lbs!!!! Thanks for this challenge and helping to keep us all accountable!!
  20. Forgot to post earlier. 238.6 thanks!!
  21. I also noticed that if I have a thin slice of cake or a couple of chips I'll be .5-1 lb heavier in the morning. I try not to cheat more than once a week, but I have a hard time trying to get in 800 cals in a day, while trying to make my goals of 80 oz of water and 80g of protein. If I have a good loss during the week, I'll treat myself to a little something over the weekend. I'll be 6 months out next Monday.
