  1. You can get gas x strips at any Walgreens and cvs or any Walmart ????
  2. I am 10 months post op and I'm still losing hair but slightly and I didn't have any hair loss until my 5/6 months post op and let me tell you I had very thick hair and it's fairly thin at the moment but I am seeing new hair growth and I do have hope it starts to fill in again.. I do try and get my protein in at least 60 a day and I make my own protein shakes because the store bought ones are not great..
  3. Gas x strips are thin strips that dissolve on your tongue and are not hard on the stomach like gas x pills because of not being able to take pills rite out of surgery..so the gas x strips work wonders????
  4. Your gonna need some Swiss miss no sugar added hot chocolate and fudge pops and don't forget to get some gas strips because after surgery you get so much gas it hurts so bad in your shoulder and stomach and back and it's all due to the gas they put in you for the surgery . I didn't think I would need that when some one told me to get it and boy was I wrong .. Good luck on this journey I too was also very scared the days leading up to my surgery and everything went so well .. Again good luck and I am 9 months out and this was the best decision I ever made????
  5. Green eyes I honestly think it is your rite to not need to let anyone know what you have done because I too have only a few people and that is close family who actually know what it done and I'm not ashamed of my decision on having wls but I also feel that it is a personal thing that I don't need to tell the whole world about..when I'm asked on how my weight is coming off I simply reply that I've been exercising and eating a whole lot healthier and that is also the truth,I'm just not telling everyone about my wls and that is my business???? and good luck to everyone on their journey whether to disclose the fact of wls or not????
  6. If you love coconut water try bai5 they have a coconut flavor and many others an it is only 5 calories per 8 oz and 10 calories for the bottle with 1 gram of suger about 3 dollars per bottle but very good and low in calories????
  7. hello im new to this site but I had my sleeve done on 1/28/2014 and that's about 10 months post op my starting weight 380 and on my surgery date I was 325 and my current weight is 212and im still trying to get to my goal of at least 180 .. I don't think you should worry so much about what the nut thinks your average weight will be just stick to your diet and follow your diet and im sure you will get to your goal , don't let anybody tell you were your gonna be in your weight ,you tell yourself were you want to be and then reach for it.. I was supposed to be aroung 250 according to my nut and dr but here I am and im still tryin to lose these extra pounds with the help of my exercise routine and eating my protein good luck im sure you will achieve your goals
