I just took my psychiatric evaluation this last Friday. Yes they have some odd questions. But i just answered honestly. My test was 450 questions. Waiting for results and have an procedure class next week. I am excited and nervous. The nurse at the Docs office said I should have my surgery the beginning of January. After approval of course. Just wish time would move faster. I'm just excited to get the ball rolling on weight loss and a new healthier me!

OH MY CARAMEL it IS my weakness lol. Girl I am going to have to try that for sure. Hope the Lactose free works for you. After drinking it, regular milks taste almost like drinking water. It hasn't failed us yet in the last 6 years which is a blessing for my kiddos.

I haven't started my liquid diet yet but I am also lactose intolerant. As are my kids. The only milk we can drink is Lactaid or the Great Value Lactose free milk at Walmart. Taste wonderful and never hurts our stomachs.

I'm hoping I get my official date soon too. My Doc told me it would be the first of January. I took my psychiatric evaluation yesterday so I have to wait on approval of that. So still super nervous but so dang excited as well. I am so glad to have found this forum. I love reading where everyone is on their journey and all the success stories ❤

Well I'm done. Now to wait for the results. It was pretty basic questions but some weird ones too. But glad at least that part is done:)

I live in Marianna FL and I am in my 2nd month of pre-op process. Getting appointments done. I see a psychiatrist tomorrow for my evaluation. Then next week I see a physical therapist. They said it would be a 3 month wait for approval so fingers crossed. I need this surgery desperately bc I have lymphedema in both legs so I can't be as physical as I want to to get the weight off so this is my next option. I'm ready to start a new healthier and happy life. It will be like being reborn:)

I lost 4lbs since the 25th of last month. I just share that lol. Makes me so happy:) 18 more pounds to go and have about 2 months. Doing all my required appointments and then wait on approval. The waiting is the hardest part. If I get approved, then the 10day liquid diet will be the hardest from what I have read on the forums and timeline. All you beautiful people have a good day!!! I'm going to go walk:)))

Still nervous some but I will be until I get approval I imagine. Praying I do. Everything seems to be lining up for it so far. Thanks again ladies. I also have lymphedema/Milroys disease in both legs and feet. So I have ALOT of fluid swelling. I just feel stuck:(

Ok..I am walking, riding bikes, no starches, no soda and it just feels like I can't lose the weight. I have a little under 2 months to lose 22 lbs that I was told was required. Is there any shakes or something I can just drink to replace my meals. I will lose this weight if I gotta just not eat period. I won't let that be the reason I don't get approved for my surgery.
