  2. It's normal. And it to shall pass....literally!
  3. @@FireWife They could still call. The phones still work on the weekends don't give up yet!
  4. Look you made "trending topics" right above me, now everyone will be giving you advice! Fun!
  5. PS I love the coconut-almond milk! It only has 45 calories a cup! Delicious!
  6. I do travel nursing so there you go!
  7. @@Monnie815 That's all going to depend on what your pre-op diet is? They are all so different. I was only allowed protein shakes, SF jello and pudding, and some low sodium broth so I didn't need any recipes for that lol!! @@Monnie815 That's all going to depend on what your pre-op diet is? 8. I drink coffee daily...now. I didn't start until 6 months. Give yourself time to heal if you aren't. It hasn't hurt me yet. Just don't add a bunch of sugar to it or anything. But you already know that
  9. @@prbaby28 No problem! That's what I do..tell people what to do ha! Good luck! Just take it one day at a time
  10. @@LipstickLady Hey girl..heyyyyyy!
  11. Well unless you dunk a bunch but I could only drink a few medicine cups at a time and not much else so my surgeon was ok with it.
  12. @@prbaby28 oh no you have to watch the cocnut water you get. I got this its Coconut O.N.E. Brand they sell at Walmart. It doesn't have that much sugar.
  13. As far as water I have always had an issue with it plain. I switched to coconut water in the first few weeks because it's a super hydrator even more so than water with potassium. Just straight coconut water in the container NO sugar added! That was Easy for me and the first few DAYS after surgery I drank the isopure liquid ready made drinks, not the best tasting stuff but 30 grams of protein per bottle and clear liquid.
  14. Back around 5 weeks out I was eating retried beans With avocado and sour cream, salsa & cheese. Ricotta cheese bake, crab cakes (without bread crumbs just the crabmeat, miracle whip, mustard, parsley and egg mixed with some O bay seasoning and cooked. Things like that. No not retried! Refried. Lol!
  15. I'm 8 months post -op with good restriction but I can eat pretty much whatever I like. Sometimes chicken and tough meats are a little hard on me so for awhile I was pretty much doing vegetarian. Sometimes I juice, it really just depends on what I feel like for that day. I still do protein shakes regularly to get my protein in! I have a strawberry mousse Syntrax one in the freezer right now getting cold. I love my shakes. They are easier on my stomach.
  16. The ready made premier protein are already made so I don't make them but when I add the Syntrax to it I then add a cup of water because if not it would be too sweet.
  17. When I was early out I drank (still do) the premier protein drinks they sell at most Walmart's and SAMS. They are ready made with 30 grams of protein per shake 11oz I think. I love the taste of them! Chocolate is the one I always get. Once I could handle that I would add a cup of water and one scoop of the Syntrax peanut butter cookie protein to it and that would gIve me 56 grams of protein per drink. It took awhile to get it down but I worked my way to 2 a day which gave me over 100 grams of protein.
  18. What kind of protein are you drinking? @@prbaby28
  19. Yogurt! Lots and lots of yogurt and not the healthy stuff we have today the sugar filled kind! I thought it was healthy and granola, full of SUGAR!
  20. @@Babbs We pretty much covered the same things at the same time lol!
  21. Are you tracking ALL your food? I still track everything. I only eat a max of 800 calories and now (recently) if I want to eat more I have to exercise, add it to my tracker and get more calories to eat that way because at times 800 doesn't feel like enough. I also eat low carb and mainly gat any carbs I have through fruits and vegetables. I still wait the 30 mins before and after I eat to drink ect...to back to the basics. Good luck!
  22. I thought I was going for Gastric bypass but my surgeon said sleeve on first visit. Perfect choice! My suggestion is get a surgeon you trust that will tell you what's best for your situation.
  23. Well A: you eat slow and wait for the signal or B: you eat too fast and feel like sh*t! Bam then you know! - I have a built in signal a burp/hiccup thing but I usually end up with Situation B because I have NEVER been good at eating slow and I never Learn my lesson
