  6. @@2goldengirl Lol!! Maybe I should open my own recovery house!!!!
  7. @@Alex Brecher Thank you! No it wasn't bad at all. I'm basically recovered already just swelling to deal with.
  8. @@jane13 Thank you. It's a lot to consider. I still have a ways to go. You're welcome for the sharing. Hopefully it will help people.
  9. @@jane13 she took off 750 which is @ 1 1/2 lbs off my stomach. May not seem like much my my loose skin was thin skin. Not thick fat. The fat was basically gone which is why I could pick it up like that in the picture. It's also why it could be stretched into such a low position for the scar placement. I do like the boobs now, we will see how everything looks in 6 months. If I feel like I want a bit bigger it won't be massive.
  10. @@madeline121 Thank you!
  11. @@KristenLe Thank you so much!!! Waking up everyday to this is crazy!
  12. Day 5. I'm counting surgery day as day 1. So today I thought for shits n giggles I'd try on this tiny swim suit. Shocking! Remember I'm still swollen but holy crap! Is that really mine??? It's hard to get it to sink in. I'm also including some photos of just how loose my skin was. Not flattering but I don't care it's where I started. Before all of this. PS I still have tape on my boobs and that line is my JP drain.
  13. She did a wonderful job for sure. @@PaulaB72 I would recommend.
  14. I can't answer that because had my husband tried any monkey business that soon after surgery the only thing that would have hurt would have been his face and pride. Ummmm NO! I'd say give it some more healing time. Your brain may say yes but even your vajaja is like "hell to the NO!" I'd listen to your body!
  15. @@alm18 That-a-girl!
  16. Well stop for a min and think about it....you lived on liquids which by nature more than likely threw your body into starvation mode. That takes awhile to do. Now you've reintroduced foods. Your body being in starvation mode is going to grab onto that food and store it! You just starved it. It's the body's way of protecting itself from the next starvation. You can thank your caveman brothers for that! It's the bodies survival mode. You would be thankful for it had you really had the threat of starving to death. Anyway. You're also recovering. Give your body a chance to catch up. You knew you were having surgery, your body not so much. It's in shock! Give yourself time to adjust. Do what your plan says to do. Stay off the scale for awhile! You will drive yourself nuts! Just stay on the Drs plan. It will work. It takes time, lots of time. Breathe.......This coming from a chick that's been there. Check out those stats below. WINK!!!
  17. I have a fabulous surgeon here in Mo. How far do you want to travel. I just had my stuff done on the 6th. Made a post with pictures.
  18. I was told to use full fat mayo. It doesn't take much. You could also sub somethings with avocado.
  19. They carry the huge ones at most dollar stores. The big ones for little old eyes.
  20. Elode replied to alikelley's topic in Rants & Raves
Stop worrying about what other people may think. Focus that energy on yourself. Be selfish! It's all about you. You won't have to see those people ever again so the hell with them. Stay focused! Get use to the attention, there's more where that came from along the road.
  21. @@2goldengirl Wonderful!! Congrats and cheers to many more!!!
  22. Drink some "smooth move" tea. 6 days is too long. You can find it at most Walmarts. It's organic and works. Make sure you steep it for 20 mins. Should work by morning. Use two bags this time. You could also try some warm prune juice. Protein shakes can be hard on your system even though they are liquid the Protein can add to the constipation. Push the fluids.
  23. @@Dub Just give it all little more time. You will get there. It took me 17 months. I'm still not technically done. I have a lot of toning to do yet. I don't know if we're ever really done but you get to a point where it's not an urgency anymore. It's not something that consumes your whole life anymore. You just start to live "normal". Or at least that's how it's been for me. I get countless inboxes and messages asking me how I did it. We all want results like yesterday but it takes time. I especially feel for the ones who are only 6 months out and doubting everything based on my results. I think people forget I'm not so "new" anymore. In November it will be 2 years. This doesn't just happen. There are a lot of ups and downs along the way. You just have to keep pushing, keep the faith and give it the appropriate amount of time. I'm not magic.
  24. @@Dub Ha! Well thank you! It was a long time coming! I just did what had to be done. Closing up the lose ends on this thing. I'm SO stinking glad it over! When you take a look back at where you started from it really is one hell of a ride!! Almost unbelievable at times. I'm sure you already know. Time just flys. I remember when you were just starting out and now look at you!
  25. @@WLSResources/ClothingExch lol! Mrs Flat kitty!
