  1. @@miller1109 Me too! Unfortunately we weren't blessed like that. You're doing awesome! Congratulations!
  2. @@akreese02 She sent me one yesterday for my birthday with the caption "You can have some, I'm sure it's vegan" it clearly wasn't. That's ok though
  3. @@SuperDave Thank you! That's sweet of you to say. I think they know it wasn't easy for me I'm just a positive person. It's defiantly not easy. I struggle everyday to not eat bad. I've been sitting here thinking about those damn Cheetos for the last 30 mins!! I could easily eat more. I've had mini freak out sessions when I throw a bag of chips off the porch for the birds or throw cookies in the trash and made sure to dump trash on top of them because I couldn't stand seeing them on the counter. My husband brought home a box of Krispy Kreme's home AGIAN today! It's a daily struggle.
  4. The other two are cousins both 25-27 years old...younger than me and had surgery before me. They both know what they are suppose to do. They just refuse to see that they are doing it to themselves. Luck has nothing to do with it. They have all expressed the fact that they know they aren't doing what they are/were suppose to do. They have all said, "Oh I'll start next week" or "It never worked, it's failed me". Its attitude.
  5. @@akreese02 I'm to the point now I just don't say anything. My aunt is one In the green leggings that likes to send me pictures of food or say " I bet you wish you could eat this". She thinks it's funny, I find it sad. She's taking "diet pills" now.
  6. @@wannaBthinsoon That's what I'm saying! I can't really talk to them about it because I'm the "good" one, the one that was "lucky" . You know because it came so easy for me!
  7. @@Daisee68 ha! Well I did! That's the only time I ever saw my mom try to exercise!
  8. @@jane13 Missed you guys!! Yes! It's a branch of color guard only they do their programs inside (winter) with music. We just found out she made the team!!! They had 56 kids tryout and only picked 16. I'm so stinking excited!!! I was an overweight kid and my parents never allowed us to do any school activities. We lived 50 mins from the school so all activities where out. I live these moments with my daughter, almost as if I made it! She really wanted to b on the team. Of course I had to get a picture with her after we checked the roster! She's silly! I'm already having a shirt made ha!!
  9. Funny thing about my birthday. I use to HATE having a Veterans Day birthday when I was a kid! Veterans Day meant no mail which equaled no birthday cards and no money. I was too young and selfish to understand what Veterans Day even was. Fast forward 29 years and I married the mailman! So guess who's off every Veterans Day and makes sure I have presents!!! Lol! Well played God......well played
  10. @@Daisee68 I use to do sweatin to the oldies when I as a kid with my mom!!
  11. I have a tremendous fear of regaining the weight that I've lost. I was going through some recent pictures of the 3 family members of mine that have had WLS. Two had Gastric bypass and the (blonde pink shirt) had sleeve surgery 6 months before I did. All have regained weight, they don't look like they even had surgery. None of them ever reached any goal. These are current post (last week). The part that aggravates me is the excuses they come up with and the comments about how I'm just "lucky" that I lost so "easily". I see all the food post. It's not my place to call them out on the food they are eating. Seeing this can be discouraging at times but most of the time it makes me want to do anything possible NOT to end up like that. Maybe I'm wrong for using them as my motivation to succeed but it does scare me. I never know what to say when the remarks come in about how well I've done and all my so called "luck". What do you do?! I keep these pictures as my reminder of what can/will happen if I don't stick with my plan. Which just helped me stop at 6 1/2 Cheetos! Of course I've blocked all identity from the pictures for their privacy. Its not "luck" it's a constant "just say NO!" Attitude I have to food. It's not easy, it's never going to be easy. That's my reality. It's just a tool nothing more and nothing less.
  12. I'm sorry I can't read the second word in your title....could you elaborate?!
  13. @@@lici@ Sending happy thoughts!
  14. @@treniasleevedlife I wish I had that addiction lucky girl!
  15. @@2goldengirl Well that stinks! I LOVE crab! I did a nursing contract in PA and some of my co-workers took me to Baltimore Maryland to have fresh blue crabs (I think that's what they were called) We don't have an ocean any where near us in Mo. It's was my first time doing anything like that. They were cracking up because they gave us the mallet thing and I thought we had to hit them and kill them first so I was freaking out. No, you don't do that! It was just for cracking them when they throw a big pile on the table. It was fun!! I'm including a pic....yes I played with my food! He was too cute not to!
  16. @@Inner Surfer Girl Thank you! It was nice overall. My husband and daughter got me 3 pairs of leggings in a size 3/5 (they streeeeech) and 3 pairs of long fuzzy socks! My two favorite items to lounge in!
  17. Wow!! Congratulations!!! That's crazy! Congratulations on a job well done!
  18. @@Terra B Congratulations!
  19. @@2goldengirl lol! I'm boring! My kids suck the life right out of me! I'm only 35 but each kid aged me 10 years + 10 more for the husband so I'm really 75! Yep that sounds about right. No more waking up smelling like alcohol and bad decisions lol!!!
  20. @@katladee Oh don't I wish!!! I would settle for a massage that's not being given by my 6 year old! He's just ok at it, he talks too much for me to enjoy it!! The husband massage always starts out innocent but then you know......it's a trick!! I'm on to him!!!
