  1. Yep, you got some good advice above...stop doing that now! Use your self Control! You don't want to hurt your new stomach . It's now even close to being healed at this point. Just mention it to your surgeon And see what he/she has to say about it. Good luck.
  2. Oh my! So are we in the guys room right now? I just respond to the "recent topics" on the right. It doesn't say where they are located. I can't be trusted to read and not respond! That's just asking for trouble! I would probably end up a human combustion case. I shall try to avoid the man room if at all possible. Although I would like to point out the fact that using the "guys room " header is like the boys only tree house my brother had...posting that on the door didn't so much work out for him.....thanks @@proudgrammy
  3. @@GeoJen Hi, welcome! And just let me say there is nothing wrong with putting someone else on food duty during this time. I did! My husband was responsible for all the food for the kids and himself while I stayed in my room and guess what...they didn't starve and I didn't cheat! Boom! Done! Good luck!
  4. Thanks for sharing your story!
  5. Oh I have no clue! Helpful huh?! I have BCBS fed and I think it's a case by case issue. You can always call your customer service and ask them.
  6. Well I just you! Is this a before or after picture?
  7. Oh and maybe one of those cute Jump suits, cat suits whatever you call them...but classy for my DIL's baby shower in 3 months! Game on!
  8. I want to wear a nice short (not hoochie short but short) dress. I NEVER show my legs! No dresses no shorts nothing! I have thick muscle legs I want thinner legs for that reason!
  9. I have no idea what that is but if you think it's hurting your belly I would consult with your surgeon or nutritionist for sure!
  10. @@angiecr Yes it is! Glad your feeling good! Congrats!
  11. @@NewBeginning2015 I would be completely amazed if you got denied the day or surgery...not going to happen! I was not even weighed the day of surgery. Don't worry about it , it's a little to late your surgery would be done before they ever knew anyway!
  12. @@laurenella82 Yay!! Congrats! It's about time!
  13. @@Jlkhollins Well congratulations! It's normal to be a little scared but don't let it consume you, chances are pretty good that you are going to be just fine! Try to enjoy what you worked so hard for! It's a happy time!!!!
  14. Well only time will tell since we are all different. I haven't found anything I can't eat but I CHOSE not to eat a lot of things. Good luck! @@JerseyJules

I'm not looking for the guys room (trust me I've Been in a couple guys room it ain't all that ; )- I don't even know why you would Need a guys room you know we women have all the RIGHT answers...duh! Ha! Ok I'm leaving now just in case I've made it into the lucrative males only room! Toodles! @@Rovobay
  16. @@Docgerri BUT, (because there's always a but) water is still a pain to get down in a day! I still don't know why that is and it seems like it's an issue with A lot of people. Just plain water ugh! I have to really focus on getting it all in. It doesn't hurt or anything it's just difficult...I can't really explain it.
  17. @@Docgerri Hi! I am one who has no problems keeping anything down. I can eat anything I just can't eat very much. Maybe a couple spoonfuls. I freaking love it though! It's the best feeling in the world to go from always hungry and eating what felt like all the time to full in a couple bites and never feeling any hunger! I think I may be one of The "lucky" ones though because some do still feel hunger. Now when I go to a resturant I don't order food I just Share off my family's plates. Usually a couple bites of grilled chicken and a bite or two of a veggie. It's lovely!!!
  18. My go to is chai decaf tea with a Splenda and teaspoon of cream! I'm obsessed.
  19. I had a hand written list that I took with me because I just knew I would forget something and I only saw my surgeon twice before the surgery.
  20. Congratulations! Excellent job!
  21. I miss salad...closest I've gotten is a half bite of coleslaw
  22. That's been a theme tonight! Something must be wrong with the site
