Okay, I'm an October RNY'er. I need to know if someone else is experiencing what I am. Since being released from the hospital yesterday, I have had crazy gas, movement in my bowels and stomach. It is so loud. It normally doesn't hurt, but sometime pushes air around releasing a fart, but most of the time it's diahrreah. I'm getting the runs about 5-6 times an hour. Am I the only one??

Hello! New to this forum! I just had a conversion from a Lap-Band to RNY on October 16th. I was released yesterday and had my first night at home. Couple of questions from this newbie, has anyone experienced severe, loud gurgling in their bowels/stomach. Sometime it leads to passing gas, other times I get more than gas with the rumblings. Im wondering if it's a lactose intolerant. I need some feedback. The stomach noises are scaring my children

Any school teachers out there who did RNY? Recovery time? My surgery is tomorrow and I'm planning on returning to work by next Friday.
