  1. Stress incontinence is a result of heaviness in the abdomen and placed on the bladder. If that is the root cause of the sneezy leaks, it will get better. It could also be caused from a variety of things. I highly recommend ben wa balls.
  2. Wow. Someone is a grumpy cat. Have a nice night, dear. You clearly don't want help, you only want justification. I can't help with that, but maybe someone else will. Best of luck on your journey!
  3. You asked for thoughts and tips. You got them Nobody is judging you, sweetheart. Relax a little. No reason to be defensive, I'm just being honest.
  4. This won't be a popular opinion, but if you binge after half a day on a sensible diet, you may want to consider that you might not be ready for such a drastic change to your life. This is going to require long term commitment and binges cannot happen. You will risk all sorts of complications post op if you don't take it very seriously. I'm not trying to be a debbie downer, but I want you to truly consider what the ramifications will be for you long term if you can't get your mind around how to use your tool to help you. It's not magic and you can easily gain or not lose at all after surgery if you don't settle some food issues. I say this with all the love in the world!
  5. Everything happens for a reason! This time next year it won't matter at all
  6. Yeah, it's not bad. I actually wish I had gotten that flavor, but I only have one day of protein left. Thank God!
  7. My surgery is coming up on Thursday and I'd call my emotions and nerves like a bowl of potpourri. None of them are the same, and they are all mixed up in one day. More than anything I am ready to move forward, optimistically, but I've also accepted the fact that complications can happen. I pray that they won't, and I have strong faith, but it's all in God's control now. Be strong and remember why you're doing this. Love and light!
  8. It is ABSOLUTELY necessary. You need follow up visits for life AND a support system of people that have been where you are. Don't make excuses and budget the money. You've invested so much in yourself. This is really important.
  9. If you're cooking healthy to give your children good, clean nutrition, it will be easy to stick to your nutrition as well Don't keep a lot of instant type foods around (Read: hot dogs, fried nuggets), or sugary cereals, etc. Foster clean eating early in their lives and it will be much easier for them in the future, too.
  10. They have ALL sorts of flavored broths like thai, spicy, southwest, etc.
  11. I'm still pre op but I've seen a lot of people say that they can have it when they start normal food at around 8-10 weeks out, but it needs to be bites as small as your pinky fingernail and chew, chew, chew.
  12. What a wonderful post! Bravo!
  13. Woohoo! I'm right behind ya on Thursday!
  14. and then after you're done walking, go for a walk!
  15. Just google smooth move tea. You can get it at amazon, or if you have a GNC near you, and some grocery stores have it.
  16. Have you tried Smooth Move tea? It works great!!!
  17. @@tammygRN This is so good to hear. Please keep us updated. I think of you often! Have a Merry Christmas, and hopefully the New Year will be a new chapter to a healthier you!
  18. Did you get materials to reference from your NUT? Every program is different it seems, but my guess would be yes, but you'd be better off to freeze some of your protein shakes. Would be much better for you.
  19. I'm glad you're going to see the psych. You probably just need a little counseling to get you over the hump. Stay positive and keep in touch
  20. I weaned off caffeine about 2 months before my pre-op diet because I knew I would go postal if I tried to do that at the same time as my pre op diet, so kudos to you for doing it now. I started by replacing all my coffee with half caff (Folgers brand) and then slowly replace half of that with decaf. After 2 weeks I went to decaf coffee and decaf tea. I had a headache for about 4 days and then it started to dissipate. Drink LOTS of water to help with the DT's.
  21. Today I wanted EVERYTHING. I'm on day 10 of pre-op liquids. I texted my best friend and told him I wanted a pizza, 4 Big Macs, a side of onion rings, a turtle cheesecake, and a bottle of wine to wash it all down with. UGH.
