@@GoAllTheWeigh LOL true, but one day when the honeymoon phase is over and you're downing that caffeine a couple times a day you may wonder why the hunger is back full force. Take a stroll through the veterans board... it happens

Keep in mind that caffeine is known to spark hunger.

Mine was straight up black and white. I don't just want this surgery. I HAVE TO HAVE this surgery. My body is failing me by the minute and this weight HAS TO come off. It's not like I have a tumor though, there isn't a doctor saying "Do this or die", but the reality is, I will die if I don't do this. Either figuratively or physically. Granted, I had a case of the worries and dreads for a brief period of time, but I'm totally over it. I'm so ready for this. But, it's a very personal choice. If you doubt your ability to even stick to a program post surgery, you probably are not ready. Your mind and heart have to be sold on this 100%.

I looooooove her. I follow her on FB and Pinterest and her blog. Her stuff is amazing.

I think we should all definitely stay in touch. For those of us that haven't had surgery it will be good to hear from those of you that have and see how you're progressing. My surgery is Dec. 18th

@@gowalking Have you ever read Eat, Pray, Love? This might be a good time to use that book to reflect. One of my favorite quotes from that book is "Stop wearing your wishbone where your backbone ought to be". Sound harsh, but I was once where you are. Not with my weight, I'm sure that will come, but with other matters related to relationships. If you haven't read it, please do.

I didn't want anything foreign in my body and I didn't want to have to have those fills done every month or so. Also, there are an alarming number of band failures that lead to revision surgery. Just the sleeve for me! Of course it is a very personal decision and no matter what you choose you will find lots of support here!

This is a write up from the maker of Genepro: What makes GENEPRO so unique is that we are able to reduce the Protein molecule to half the size of normal protein through a process called Electrophoresis. The other interesting fact is that most protein supplements digest in the lower GI and whey is absorbed at only 31% so if you're "taking" 30g of whey, your body is only taking in 9g. Genepro is digested in the upper GI which eliminates gluten, lactose and bowel sensitivity and absorbs at a rate of 94% which makes it 3 times more effective than any other protein on the planet (medical or open market).
