Brela, what hospital does Dr, Zavalza operate out of in Tijuana Mexico? How much was your deposit? Do they really stay in contact? Once I deposited $500 dollars the phone calls and emails stopped coming in.

Rocky1 I like the fact that with Hospital Angeles you only stay three days in the hospital then go home. The pay a a few thousand higher though. The hospital looks great from the video's . I know for sure that I'll get a hysterectomy done at Hospital Angeles after I have the gastric sleeve surgery done. A year later though. I paid the deposit to Tijuana Bariatrics but I'm still unsure of what I'll do because I hate how after you pay the deposit the phone calls and emails stop coming in plus five days is a lot of work missed for the surgery. I'll try sending an email again and if I receive no response, I'm moving on.

Brela, yes I know what you mean there are doctors who do the same work and charge higher. Why pay higher if you can get it done for cheaper. I won't spend more if I don't have to. I could think of a lot of other things I could do with the extra money left over like buy a new wardrobe of course

I checked out their website as well. Great price might I add. I'm nervous as well but I'm sure everything will be OK. I am awaiting my passport card through the mail. Change is always scary at first

Hi I'll be bringing some like gasX and some tums. The vitamins I bought will be used after the surgery. I pray I won't loss a lot of my hair after the surgery. I went crazy buying biotin pills. I'm trying to find the right protein shakes also.

It is Florence Hospital in Tijuana Mexico. It is a Hospital from what I've seen and researched. They show it on their website as well at tijuanabariatrics.com

Your right, I check on it other to see how much it is and the price keeps going up especially for June and July the summer vacation times.

KC VSG THATS GREAT! I am scheduled for May 26- 2015 but I am sure I'll be pushing it back at least a few weeks later to June 2015. We may meet where are you from? I live in Louisiana. I'm so excited. I research for more then two years and finally decided and paid my deposit. thank you for replying

So I am heading to Tijuana Mexico for the Gastric sleeve surgery with Dr Garcia this May of 2015 the last week of the month and I'm interested in finding out if there are others traveling to get their surgery done around the same time? And maybe by the same doctor Fernando Garcia?

Wow! Thank you @Thindergrrl. That's exactly how I'm going to travel to get my Gastric sleeve surgery done. Thank you so much I almost waisted more money then I needed to. That's why I like this sight. Everyone is so helpful

That sounds great! So far I've only found places in Texas that are doing the gastric sleeve and band that way. That's much better. They are looking out for everybody I am sure I have a hernia as well because my acid reflux and heart burn is horrible especially if I eat after 6pm. I am damn near in tears suffering from it. Its horrible I tell you. If only my jobs insurance paperwork and card would come in fast enough. I'm ready to put my deposit down with Dr Garcia in Mexico. Its taking to long.

So I don't have to purchase both to travel. I never had a passport before. This would be my first time getting one. Thank you Thundergrrl I'll look into it. If I can avoid spending more, I definitely will

Njones916.. That's fine this site is amazing! I have found out so much from on here from everyone. Whatever the insurance doesn't cover, you'll pay in cash, which I don't think is that much. Depending on your insurance coverage amount. I'm waiting for my insurance papers and card to come in so I could submit the info to them to see to. Its a great price. Cheaper so far.

Frick how was it with Dr Vazquez? I may go with him instead being that he is a few hundred dollars cheaper. I will have to pay for my flight round trip around $600 dollars and my passport for 165 plus purchase a few things for the trip like compression stockings.. Etc he looks young. I know they operate together though.

Susan had emailed me asking me to write a review on Dr Alvarez and I never spoke with him never even seen him face to face. What could I say about him ? Absolutely insane! I never put any money down because I had a very bad feeling g about it all. That ail she sent me confirm it all for me. She wanted me to fake a good review on my Google + page. Not happing!
