  1. Okay, it's official. Got my lab work date, upper GI date and delivery date for meds. I think I have everything I need. I am a planner. Let's share our lists. Here is mine, tell me if I am missing anything. Abdominal Binder, B-12 sublingual, Broths, Calcuim citrate+D, GasX Strips, Heat/cold packs, Miralax, Multivitamin, Pepcid/prilosec/tums, Protein shakes, Tylenol liquid

  6. . Yes, most people seem to be required to do it but every doctor is different. Some doctors are all liquids mine is 5 protein bars/shakes and a low calorie and low fat dinner. He thinks people are more compliant that way. It is hard at first bot then you start thinking about the lifestyle change you are making and you want to do it.

  15. . You are not ancient I grew up on a diary farm, so we had our own garden also and unpasteurized milk too for that matter. I am the same way, I used to eat all I wanted those days and never a pound now I have to take drastic measures to take the weight off. 50 years...and he is supportive of you doing something wonderful for yourself. Hats off to that man. This is our journey to the rest of our lives, we have to stay focused, positive and motivated.
  16. Angie, you got this as long as you believe you can do it. What is you nutritional plan?
  17. You definitely are loser bench ready. We will keep each other motivated. My husband is an amazing cook and he is doing all the cooking while I am going through thus process. Please pray for me.
  18. Insurance approval done, dietician done, sleep study done only have labs and EDG left to do. Oh yeah... Started the wonderful pre-op diet, lol.
