  1. I miss you! You still look amazing, thank you for all the support on my journey.
  2. Welcome to the losers bench...this will continue to be a rewarding journey.
  3. My paperwork says when you comfortable/ready you may resume.
  4. I am 3 weeks of liquids then soft foods.
  5. I went back to work after 7 days. I was going stir crazy and my team was going through a restructure and I wanted to be there to support my employees. I was very tired everyday. I took it easy, shorter days and lighter workload. It was good to get back in the groove. I did have to work from home the day when my bowels finally broke.
  6. Thank you, even though I don't wish this on anyone it is good to know I am not alone here. I have my 2-week follow-up this coming week and I am going to ask my surgeon because all my prescriptions were mailed to me prior to my surgery and it included a 2-month supply of Pepcid with refills available. I hope you are doing great otherwise. I feel fundamental and the pounds are falling off. Even if this is long-term it is a small price to pay for what I have gained/lost. Wishing you well on this journey!!!
  7. As I told everyone, I had no complications and am losing weight amazingly. However, I do have a new aliment post-op that I did not have before acid reflux. Did anyone else have this?
  8. I did some hard stuff on day 6. I started taking Miralax since and after a couple days I am as regular as anyone eating as little as I am.
  9. I am down 25lbs in 3 and a half weeks. I lost 9lbs on my pre-op and and 16lbs since my sleeve on 11/10. I am super excited about this journey.

  11. You will be fine. I never thought I could get through it but it is the best decision I have made for myself in a long time. I am 1 week out and clothes are literally too big already. That includes the pre-op diet weight I lost. We are rooting for you!
  12. Congrats...welcome to the losers bench.
  13. Glad you are not in a lot of pain, the liquids will increase day by day.
  14. Will do...the weight is just falling off.
  15. Y'all are so lucky I am full liquids for 3 whole weeks. I guess this is the price I have to pay since my pre-op diet was not all liquid.
  16. We are rooting for you. I know the changes seem overwhelming now but you deserve this and your life after will be much better because of it.
  17. I hope everyone who is having issues began to feel the terrific part about having this surgery. May blessings be with you. I was wondering what everyone's post-op diet consists of. I am on full liquids for 21days. Strained/puréed soups, broths, diluted fruit juice, protein drinks, skim milk, and sugar free Popsicles and drink mixes.
  18. 3 days post-op, I am off the pain medicine but all I really want is apple flavored water. I wasn't even a Apple fan before the surgery. Getting the recommended protein down seems impossible. I have no desire for food smelling it is the only thing that gives me nausea. No regrets!
  19. I am not sure about the stitches over the staples.
  20. It was my first surgery also. He tried to make me feel as comfortable as he could. His methods are cutting edge and you will experience the least amount of pain possible. I know I made the right choice in regards to a surgeon.
  21. Dr. Nicholson was perfect. Everything was textbook for me. I am only a couple days out and feeling great.
  22. Great...I am happy to hear you are doing fine.
  23. Congrats...we are so proud of you!
