  17. Yes! 12 weeks hanging out between 203 and 207. Up and down. This last 2 weeks it just melted away. I am at 190! I don't know if my body was holding into Water or what. It was really my first plateau and hope I don't have another anytime soon. Last 40 to go. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  18. Congratulations on the success. You are looking fabulous and healthy! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  19. Great thought about it being a neutral. And comparing it to brushing your teeth. No I don't love brushing my teeth but I never skip that. Thank you for the new perspective and positive thoughts. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  21. Lapband has been great for me. Started at 448 - down to 190 in 22 months. I have 40lbs to go. I joined a support group called weekly weigh in on line 3 months after surgery. The education from the group that are on the same journey has been amazing. I wanted lapband vs gastric sleeve/bypass and was told the same thing - you will not lose the weight you want. I am following the rules and losing. Congrats on making a decision to take the first step. I only wish I had done it years earlier. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  22. Focused on the last 40 lbs. I continue to put Protein first, wait an hour to drink after meals, no baked goods, sugar, flour, so on. Challenges continue to be trying to love exercise. I am still not consistent. I will get in a groove and the life gets in the way and it will have been a week since I did a planned exercise. I do add intentional movement throughout the day but I know 210 dedicated minutes would be better. I still have head hunger and can not have sweets around me. It has not been easy but so glad I did it and celebrating improved health and enjoying life.
  23. Congrats on finding your confidence. You may not have seen it but I am positive you inspired someone to get moving. Good for you that you will continue. It has been hard not to hide in the past for me. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  24. I started wearing a band that tracked steps and sleep as I was dragging and tired. I was guilty of setting the timer on the TV for 3 hours when I went to bed. I felt I went to sleep fast and thought I was sleeping well. It showed I was not getting deep sleep at all during the first hours of sleep. I now set the timer for 30 minutes and am getting the deep sleep I need and can stay up to 11 again without a problem. Environment can really impact. Hope you find what is contributing to your problem.
  25. I had surgery on a Friday morning and returned to work on Tuesday. I did not have any problems from the surgery but was really tired for a few weeks as I adjusted to low calories and very low carbs.

  27. Great results. Congratulations on the hard work paying off.
  28. Hi. I went thru True Results and Dr. Reilly also. Both worked out. Still losing. Surgery one year ago tomorrow.
  29. One year mark tomorrow! Down to 248- 189 lost. Continuing to focus and hope to reach goal weight by the 2nd year mark. Feeling great and doing all the things I could not do for the last 20 years.
  30. Thank you for the inspiration. Tomorrow is one year for me. Started at 437 and down to 248. Losing at a slower rate but I am still motivated and believe I can reach goal. I continue to focus on protein, water and low carb. Trying to get inspired for exercise.

  32. For me it is not as important as it was. It was my go to to fix everything....food when I was happy, sad, celebrating and so on. Filling in with other activities as there is not as much satisfaction with food as there once was. Food is less of an issue at this point.....but all things can change.
