Constipation
After 7 days my boyfriend had to give me two enemas. It was on and off between extreme constipation and diarrhea for two weeks. Buy a four pack of Fleet.

Pure protein bar
I'm stuck at the vet with a sick dog. I'm a month out with my sleeve. Needed something to eat so I got a pure protein bar. 2g of sugar high protein. Think it will make me dump?

INT I wish it was soup. It was pot roast with veggies cooked very well eaten in a soup bowl.

Week 4 ate too much help
Thanks Miss Mac. I think with the anxiety I have right now about eating too much last night will make think twice the next time. I'm so afraid I damaged my staple lining even though I don't have pain. This sucks. I never should have done that.

How long does it take for onset of pain? Thanks for the info Lexie!

Week 4 ate too much help
I over indulged last night with pot roast, I ate slow over a 3 hour period but now I'm worried that I damaged my sleeve. I ate a soup bowl full in 3 1/2 hours. What are the signs of a leak? I have no pain.

Dumping syndrome and sugar?
I don't have any cravings for sweets, I think it's because of all the shakes and jello and stuff. I just didn't put the two and two together on the sauce. I assume it's because I haven't had sugar in at least a month, I'm just glad I was home. I wonder if I can't have flavored creamer now in my coffee (can't drink it til next week). May have to switch to sugar free...

Does that last permanently?

Time between meals?
How long are you supposed to wait in between meals? Does anyone know how soon your stomach is empty after a meal? I don't feel hunger anymore so it's hard to tell. Thanks.

Dumping syndrome and sugar?
I had my first meal out last night, a little side of pulled pork (very lean) with bbq sauce from Sonnys. I put extra sauce on the meat to give it more flavor, but a few hours later everything came out of me and I barely made it to the bathroom. I'm wondering if I can't yet tolerate the sugar in the sauce?

YouTube gurus and natural weight loss
For the longest time I told myself that I could do it on my own. And I could, but I was never successful at keeping the weight off. That's the hard part. So after being diagnosed with sleep apnea, high bp and severe anemia, and just turning 40, enough was enough. I'm only 2 weeks out, but I truly feel if I stayed on the track I was on for the past twenty years, that within ten I'd be dead. This is not something to be entered into lightly, and some people just don't realize what a struggle it is.

Bathroom problems
Sorry in advance for TMI, but I got my sleeve done Sept 15th. Didn't have a BM for one week. After a week I needed an enema. Then for the next 3 days unexpected explosive diarrhea. Then constipated again. Two days ago severe diarrhea and now I am so constipated things are stuck. Any suggestions? I'm afraid to take a stool softener because of the diarrhea.

secret surgery: what else can you tell someone if they ask?
I forgot to mention I had the surgery 9/15 and am down 15lbs. I go back to work in one week.

secret surgery: what else can you tell someone if they ask?
My boss is a judgmental jerk who has actually told me I need to exercise more and lose weight, and then my colitis will go away, among other things. Without my asking for his opinion, btw. So I told him I was "having surgery" and would be out for two weeks but didn't tell him what it was. I am actually a little worried about returning to work because it's going to be hard to hide my new eating habits. He doesn't even leave us alone in the break room. Anyone else ever go through this?
