For instance.... I have a wedding to attend tonight. My husband is in the wedding party so I have to go, there is no backing out of it. But I reallllyyyy don't want to. The last thing I want to be doing right now is putting on a dress and heels and faking it when in actually I'm miserable with myself. Not to mention, my mother in law is camera happy. She takes 45 pictures of the same thing at 90 different angles and posts EVERY SINGLE PICTURE to her Facebook. I don't want to remember this night and how I look at all. Also, the weekend after my surgery we have my husbands army units Christmas party. Again, I don't wanna fake it. I don't want to remember looking like this. How do I get through it. I feel like it have so much to be excited about and look forward to but I can't enjoy anything else right now.

Just got off the phone with the office 12/2 is my date!!!

I thought it was 11/25. But apparently that was just a dummy date or the purpose of paperwork. I'm waiting on a call back from the scheduler now

Yes, yes you did! lol I'm like flipping out!!! I called my husband flipping out and screaming like a maniac (in excitement of course). He couldn't understand a word I was saying and thought I was mad at him for something. ????????????

I had to get a cardiac and pulmonologist clearance, they included an echocardiogram and a stress test and a breathing test. a psych eval, barium swallow, and go to one support group meeting. I luckily didn't need to do any supervised dieting.

This is my EXACT reason why I didn't want to do it then! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. It doesn't matter now though because I just got off the phone with the surgery scheduler and she's changing my date and calling me back with a new one. And I didn't even ask them too.

OMG!!!!! I just got the call from fidelis! This is sooooooo surreal to me! I seriously did NOT think I would get approved. It took me less than ONE month to complete all the requirements before my surgeons office would submit the paperwork, and I've only had this insurance since NOvember 1st. I thought for sure they would deny me and request more time or more health records, BUT NOPE!!!!!!! I can't even believe this!!!!!!

I'm bringing an oil diffuser with natural oils. Hopefully the hospital has no problem with it. I had one when I have birth to my son but it was at a different hospital.

I haven't been sleeves yet but I get b12 injections from my hematologist when I get iron infusions.

It's true! Every anesthesiologist I've ever had was drop dead gorgeous and had seen me looking my absolute worst. I think it's a rule that in order to be an anesthesiologist you HAVE TO be good looking

Ugh I'm so aggravated. My mother in law texted me this morning asking if she should cancel thanksgiving at her house and when I spoke with my mother (who is also going to my in laws) she said she should cancel. This is exactly what I didn't want to happen. For everyone to rearrange their holiday because of me. Oh well. They can all fend for themselves then.

I'm hoping I don't need them. I'm not sure how many pharmacies will be open on thanksgiving day!!

Thank you! I need to hear that. I just spoke to my husband about it. I'm gonna go forward with it on the 25th. If I'm feeling up to it I'm going to go to my in laws for the gathering. And if not I'll stay home and he's gonna go with our kids. I can't believe this is really happening. IN 3 WEEKS!!!
