I think I have pulled it off!!! My vacation begins Monday!

Ok! Had my pre-op appointment and really could've had a V-8. I have already read all the things they told me. The only thing good was I got a free bag and a shaker! Lol! So ready to get this done!!! Come on 16th!!!

Because, I am traveling 3 hours and was wondering how was the travel.

I will be sleeved on the 16th and will be taking "vacation", and was wondering what it will be like after a week

I am doing okay with the pre-op diet but like you the first week was HELL! It will get better just getting you ready for the surgery!

I am having surgery on the 16th as well! I think for the most part everybody is different and it will be according to your body! Good Luck!!

Had to change my date to the 16th feeling sad but it is only a week away! ???? Trying to find some positivity in my new date!! I know at least I can enjoy my husband for Valentine's Day!

I am sorry, I just saw this post! I am having surgery in the Dallas area.

Can we say NINE(9) days until surgery! I am a cash pay and I paid on yesterday and everything is done!!!! Super excited!!!

Cheaper b/c insurance is not covering it!

First of all congratulations! I am told some will be happy for you and others will be haters, but that is nothing new! You probably have that now! I know I do! Again, congratulations!!!!

I trying to decide which sounds better: 22 days or 3 weeks until surgery date!

@@Pac-woman I went into Lane Bryant the other day and it really hurts my feelings that the cost of the clothes in there are so expensive! I mean $89 for one dress!!!! I did purchase some night gowns to be stylish after I have surgery! I bought three night gowns and the total was $67! Will be so happy when I can get a cute little shirt and skirt for $15 like my girlfriends do so often! I, like you have to dress professionally to work and I do shop at Dress Barn, but they are expensive as well! The non-plus size side has clearance prices that are wonderful! Can't wait to get over there!

Well, my insurance does not cover WLS so that was out......but it does cover hiatal hernia repair surgery! So, my doctor is getting me in for a hiatal hernia and while he is in there, he will sleeve me! I have to pay $3500 for the sleeve! You may want to check into that as an option! My surgeon is in Dallas!

Anyone getting sleeved in or from Louisiana?
