look just hold your head up high..... everntually most people find out sooner or later, and who really cares what people think or say. it really depends on how you feel inside. nothing feels as good as thin and believe me i got banded in jan this year and only told 2 people mu mother still dont know and thats how ill keep it,well fo now anyway, as soon she is going to ask what am i doing to loose the weight and ill be honest with her. you never know you might find someone else with in your friend group who is thinking of the same procedure and you may be setting a healthy weightloss trend. i know how you must be feeling but just drop the baggage of this stress as you dont need it ...... just push ahead and it is very very worth it all. i started at 106kgs 23rd jan............ 17 weeks later im now 88.5kg!!! feel fantastic... hubby cant keep his hands off me!! cheers and hope this cheers u up.

gday banders... yes its me i havent been online for ages.... i got banded 23rd jan 2008 i went into surgery weighing 103kgs!! coming up now to 15 weeks, and only 3 fills im down to 90kgs!!! wow it feels soooo good to see it coming off. i actually bought myself a pair of size 14 jeans in big W and they fit lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg i cannot believe the change in myself. i would get banded all over again. my op was a breeze and dr. watson is a great doc, so good luck to everyone out there and believe me the change is unreal and u too will be feeling you wished u did it earlier too. woooo hoo bring on the 80's !!! good luck everyone

hi ya ... i must so a huge apology as i couldnt get to the high road that day to meet you.... however i thought you might be happy to know im meeting another bandster from perth on the monday 31st march at garden city for a coffee and loads of chat.. wanna join us? im from the country and will be a up for a few days so hope to catch up and make up for lasttime. my weight has slowed up a bit now but cannot wait for 2nd fill to help me eat less. cheers:unsure:

top stuff good news....

hi ya people from perth!!! i have been banded 5 weeks tomorrow and im doing really well. so far so good! i did at first have some restriction but after the 2 week i started getting bit hungry. i am exercising every day from walking riding or aerobics at home. FINALLY i can say im feeling pretty good about myself as i have weighed myself and so far for the 5 week weigh in i have lost 7.7kgs!!! bloody uneal. i cant wait for my first fill as hopefully it will help me loose even more weight! one thing we must all remember its up to us to choose the healthy options or we are just tricking our selves and i know the band cannot loose the weight for us , we have to work with it,. well good luck to you all. does anyone wanna meet up for a chat/lunch etc this sunday 2nd march at the high road hotel in the lovely beer garden??? it is in willetton on high road... let me know if your planning on being there sms me to let me know how many banders are coming. lets say we meet at 12 noon for lots of talks and light lunch?? sms me Christine on 0427182920 cheers good luck peoples

well im home and doing really good ! im so suprised how good i feel, i have a little wind in the belly but other than that all good! take care all and its so great to be over the first hurdle... banded finally! yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ps: so is it true we are meant to stick to liquid for 2 weeks then mushie stage then slowly bring in food? well thats what im gonna do . cheers

hi there, im getting banded either 23 or 28 jan 2008 !! im scared excited and everthing else. im 40 years and have weighed 100kgs -106 kgs for years now....... im sooooooooooooooo frigin sick of it and people sayin oh your not that bad but if they could only see how hard it is to dress nicely and to live with being fat 24/7! anyway im with dr watson at murdoch id love to hear from other people who are in the same boat. id love to meet up and be a banded club for support etc. cheers and thanks for reading. plz email me lackmin@hotmail.com:biggrin1:
