  1. I Been having the same problem but I had gastric bypass on March 16 2015 I'm now 115 lbs and 5'6 I'm thin everyone around me its concern, I swear I'm trying my best to gain weight but my pouch it's too small. I was dilated 3 times. Last time was I. December. Really don't know what to do. I eat all day but food doesn't fit. If I force I vomit with terrible pain. My family doesn't believe me they its all in my head but I really can't fit food. Nutritionist want me at 135/140 I never thought this would be a problem.
  2. My SW 220lbs I just reach the 115. Nutritionist wants me at 135/140lbs that was back in October. I agree with her because I had lots of energy, was able to work out everyday, felt happy. Now I have no energy at all. Stop working out in November.
  3. Fage 0% I usually add fresh fruits or reduced sugar strawberry preserves
  4. I totally understand, like I say it took me 1 year to be able to eat it. Since day one post op I was very sick with lots of foods. I almost give up when last week one of my kid comment pushed me to try again and it's been now only couple days but I'm digesting better. Today I'm 114.8 for 5'6' I have to push food down somehow. My stomach is very small. Yesterday I try pizza I small slice, Italian pizza, which is thinner then American pizza, well this morning I had a terrible diarrhea. I have to eat every 2 hrs, and try to drink also 40 min after I eat.
  5. I have to go every 4/5 weeks. They said about 6 to 9 treatments it depends.
  6. It's pain, then foam then thick food vomit, that hurts so much until is out. Sometimes it's so hard that I feel like I'm chocking. The dumping I have too with sugar, get very dizzy. Shaky, I have to sit for awhile. I eat mainly beans, nuts, salads, tofu, yogurt, cottage cheese, banana, kiwi, trying meats and fish after 1 yr post op and it's OK for now.
  7. You look great. What day was your surgery? Mine was March 16 2015
  8. So I went today for my first treatment, it does hurt! For like 10 sec. I even used the numbing cream. Will see the results I still have to do 5/6 more treatments
  9. So I been trough a lot, on March 16 2015 I had gastric RNY bypass. I lost 104 lbs. start weight 220 current weight 116, I'm 5'6' I think my ideal weight is around 145 because I had much more energy, working out every day etc. now my energy level dropped significantly. I been very restricted on food choices. Can't digest meets, chicken, fish, eggs, I love cooking and try all those foods in different ways, soft simple, backed, fried, etc smothers in sauces etc . Nothing worked. Well today I was able to eat chicken at lunch and soft meatballs in a soup 2 of them. Did I need to be 1 year out to be able to eat? Am I finally be able to eat normal? Still in small quantities but as a normal person, not running to the toilet to let it all out? An I going to be able to seat and have dinner with my family again? I'm super excited, little part of me fear of gaining too much weight. But I want to be healthy and active feeling energized. ( I had 3 strictures, which they enlarged with endoscopy balloon )
  10. I'm 1 yr out and I can only eat 1/2 cup of food at a time. And drink 40 min after eating. Today I finally keep down some chicken with tomatoes sauce, I do have a pain in the left side tho. I wasn't able to eat chicken or meat or fish before today. I feel so full I eat about 4oz. I'm here trying to gain back some weight.
  11. Check for stricture. I had to be enlarged 3 times. I'm almost 1 year and still eat very small, if I try to push food I get pain. I eat all day. Nuts. Beans. Can't digest any fish or meat or eggs. With nuts, beans and fage yogurt o make to around 40-50 gr of protein.
  12. I was thinking about this the other day: why people have to put a label on each other? When I was large everyone in my family was concern about my health and outside Beauty, so I was fat, "pretty face"but fat. My sisters make fun of me because of 5 kids I was the only big one. My brother in law one time told me if I was your husband I would go and sleep with another women ( he is an asshole ) now that I lost all the weight I'm too skinny, I look like a zombie, I look sick, skinny is not always beautiful. My sisters are competing with me, going to the gym like crazy. Eating protein bars to replace a meal, and ask me: how much you weight??? They will never know. Then they say: you have a skinny butt it's not good need to have some meat not only bones. Etc etc etc People who just meet me for the first time don't know about the surgery they said. You look great. The change its hard on people. They have to judge you no matter what. Jeoulosy ? Concern? Stupidity?? Who knows but guess what I had surgery for myself I don't care is others opinion, it's their problem not mine.
  13. I found another place with very good reviews for $40 I'm going to give it a try. I hope is not too painful
  14. I called a local place and they told me it's about 5 treatments/$150 per treatment. Done by a nurse practitioner. I live in SoCal
  15. Same problem, but I didn't have plastic surgery. I'm considering laser
  16. Doing good. I'm little underweight but overall I'm ok. Family thinks I'm too thin but I actually like it. My energy level it's low. Start 210 now between 116/117 it's slowing down but still going down.
  17. Too Mach protein will cause constipation. I'm finally better after 11 months, about 60gr protein and lots of cooked veggies. I use extra vergin olive oil on my food.
  18. I lost my butt too. I can't find any jeans that fits me well. I'm using mostly dresses and leggings. I have to seat on my side because my tail bone hurts. But hey who is complaining haha
  19. Right after my surgery I thought I will never go back to surgery, it's been a very rough 11 months, I was at goal weight after 6 months, and not I'm borderline underweight. I lost 121 lbs I do have loose skin, specially in my tummy, arms and inter tights. Well now I'm considering plastic surgery as soon as I feel stronger. If you are pre op don't worry about extra skin.
  20. I struggle to eat meats or fish or eggs, so I'm turning to a vegetarian diet. I'm 11 months out and I eat about 50/60 gr of protein. Lots of nuts, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, cheese, tofu, different kinds of beans. I had a run bypass
  21. You described exactly how I feel when I eat. I do regret surgery when I get sick. But then I like the results at the same time. My food experience is just like yours.
  22. No I didn't check for malnutrition, I'm also afraid of feeding tube, pic lines etc. I'm not using any Protein shake or bars becomes they make me sick. My surgeon insist that mechanically everything is perfect, I went to UCLA, for a second opinion and they said from my records that everything is in good place. So what is it? Going to psychiatrist tomorrow, can all my pain and discomfort be only a mental thing ? I don't believe so, I never have those types of problems, like bulimia or anorexic or binge eating etc. I just drink half cup of milk lactose free and I feel solo full, I get a runny nose etc. nutritionist said you are getting to low on the weight, need to gain 15lbs but how if I can't eat? I feel they don't believe me that I eat all day or that I try all day
  23. Today I only had 800 cal but I feel so full that if I try to eat anything else I will get pain and sick. ????
