  1. I go in at 6am tomorrow morning! I'm all kinds of dazed!
  2. I'm sure mine won't happen anywhere near 6, but at least in got the earliest arrival time! Let me say I am so glad that I didn't cheat. This is my last evening and I won't need much willpower now because nerves have taken my appetite over. My mind has been running since they called with my time. I can't believe it's tomorrow. I kay feel kinda dizzy and numb, but thanking the Lord at the same time.
  3. WELL I JUST GOT MY SURGERY ARRIVAL TIME! 6 AM TOMORROW MORNING!
  4. How far out r you? I sure hope to have extremely reduced hunger too.
  5. I would say don't cheat either. I didn't cheat but my dr switched me from two weeks to one when I had already started so I went and ate. It was so super hard to get back on track, I did it the next day but it was 10x worse than when I first started. But if I had just stayed on it instead of taking advantage of the one day I had, it would have been easier and I would be lighter. So yes I'm near the end, today is the last day and surgery is tomorrow. For the most part the last few days have been fine but in the evenings I do have these thoughts that I should go in there and eat because it will be my last chance for a big meal like I'm used to. But I do not really want a big meal, that's what got me here, it's all in my head and I don't know any different. So for you the last few days will probably be easier than you think.
  6. I'm having those, I don't want to give up this food or that food, even though I have been pretty good at low carbing it for quite some time. I think I have more of a quantity problem instead of quality. But when I see food commercials or have food thoughts the last few days I can't help but swoon for whatever feeling I get that drives me to eat so much. Ive said it before my stomach has always been larger than normal even as a kid. So I can't wait to not need so much food to satisfy my appetite.
  7. Oh wait I think you're talking about something else sorry.
  8. Just search for HYDRACOACH and you will find it! EBay or Amazon.
  9. I agree. I'm the only present, acceptable parent they have. Good point, we must not be THAT nervous or we wouldn't do it. Broth, I can't believe I'm saying This but this pre op diet has made me picky. I've never been picky so this is new to me. I don't care for any of the 5 different broths I bought, my protein powder is too too too sweet, I really only like my eas carb control and my powerade zero in blue n strawberry and my sugar free popcicles ( I don't normally do sweet stuff and never cared for jello. I can't believe im picky.
  10. hoping the worst doesn't happen, can't believe it is finally finally here, last night I was having those crazy hunger induced insane thoughts, I was thinking, WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE MY NEW SMALLER BODY, I'VE NEVER BEEN NORMAL SIZE, WHAT IF IT TURNED IT THAT I LIKED MY BIGGER BODY BETTER? but I know that's just stupid, I have to do this to keep from getting diabetes, my knees going out, so I can have energy, feel better, look better, and most importantly LIVE.
  11. I feel the same way about feeling like it might not happen. I'm not really believing it til they are wheeling me back.
  12. honestly? Only nervous about something happening and leaving my kids without a parent. That is my only fear.
  13. I know we shouldn't wish for such things but I think that I would be happy if I get this non existent hunger that some people talk about.
  14. 1 day & 2 nights to go! Are we excited? Nervous? Scared?
  15. Hey everyone! Three more nights and two more days! How many of you already have your scheduled time to be at the hospital?
  16. red dye? Wonder why? I mean I don't like dyes don't get me wrong lol.
  17. I've seen, heard, read all different things about the gas x strips. Depends on the hospital and the doctor etc. I've got some packed, it's not like they take up any room.
  18. I've got to do some cleaning tonight but I'm running a little low on energy. I know I've been preparing for months and now I don't want to do the finishing touches haha
  19. I KNOW I WAS SURPRISED THAT MY PAPERWORK STATES LIGHT MAYO AND FAT FREE GRAVIES.
  20. I'M GLAD THAT I KNOW MON, TUES, WED, WILL GO FAST BECAUSE OF WORK TOO. BUT LIKE I'VE SAID BEFORE THE EVENINGS ARE THE HARDEST FOR ME. BUT I'M FEELIN GOOD TODAY. CAN'T WAIT TO GET THAT CALL ON WEDNESDAY TELLING ME WHAT TIME TO BE AT THE HOSPITAL. I'M KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED THAT I WILL BE EARLY. AFTER ALL, I DESERVE IT AFTER ALL I'VE BEEN THRU IN THIS JOURNEY, LOL JK. I'LL TAKE WHATEVER TIME I GET WITH A SMILE & APPRECIATION FOR THIS BLESSING!
