3 nights until surgery

And I can't take one more Protein shake! All I can think of is food... On day 13 of liquid diet and I only cheated once (which I felt super guilty) and was a HUGE mistake. If you are on your 2 week liquid only diet, don't cheat as it will make it so much harder to continue after and will trick your mind into thinking one bite or two a day until surgery is ok.

If you are near the end of your diet how are you coping? I have to check into hospital at 6am on Friday and although I'm not ready for surgery I AM so ready for the hunger pangs to be gone.

I would say don't cheat either. I didn't cheat but my dr switched me from two weeks to one when I had already started so I went and ate. It was so super hard to get back on track, I did it the next day but it was 10x worse than when I first started. But if I had just stayed on it instead of taking advantage of the one day I had, it would have been easier and I would be lighter. So yes I'm near the end, today is the last day and surgery is tomorrow. For the most part the last few days have been fine but in the evenings I do have these thoughts that I should go in there and eat because it will be my last chance for a big meal like I'm used to. But I do not really want a big meal, that's what got me here, it's all in my head and I don't know any different. So for you the last few days will probably be easier than you think.
